I will never be able to say no to this kid! He is beyond adorable. I'm surprised he's not sick of all my kisses yet! ;-)
In all seriousness, things are going great here in Moscow. This morning we went to get his medical done for the embassy (he needs it to get his visa) and he did so good. It was done at the children's hospital and when we first got there he was crying a little; our facilitator said he probably recognizes the smell and associates it with getting shots. I felt like a true mama when I pulled him onto my lap and he snuggled so tight up against me for comfort!
Despite his fear, there were no tears during the exam. The doctor was wonderful and every place on Arie's body he would examine, he asked Arie if he was ticklish there and made Arie giggle away. At the end he told us our biggest problem would be trying to keep the girls away! Haha. I'm sure that's his pocket joke but I totally agree.
Just got up from a family nap; Arie is wide awake and playing and DH and I are sitting on the couch feeling like crap with the jet-lag but still enjoying just watching our little man!
Gotcha day post with a few pictures and one more about parenting so far are in my blog.
Hope everyone is doing well! Thanks for reading!
