Hello ladies, and happy belated Thanksgiving.
Had my baseline appointment this morning. Just received a call from the RE that my E2 is 65, and they want it to be under 40, so it is a suboptimal time to start. They've told me that based on this, I could get less response, but given that I only got 3 last time and one fertilized, I could really end up with nothing. If I don't start today, however, I won't be able to until January, as I'll be at my parents for the December cycle.
Would be interested to hear what you ladies would do. Would you start and risk it, or wait? Thanks in advance.

I'd probably wait. If my RE thought it was suboptimal, and the chance of success wasn't great, I wouldn't want to put my body through stims and ER.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

Oh please.. So, your "real" FSH is 8. I would go ahead but your numbers are a great cycle for me so I guess it is all relative.

I guess it is. I don't know if that was a disclaimer or what. Part of my concern is that my E2 number doesn't seem to be going down, and my AMH was low normal (.81) a year ago. Also I had no cysts, but she was unable to give me an AFC. Also, my numbers are CD2; don't know if that makes a difference form the CD3 ranges that some people quote.

I'm sorry. I am sure that was a hard decision to make. I think you would find people split on this choice, but the most important thing is that you and YH are agreed on a course of action. Enjoy your holiday and go to battle with the IF gods and WIN in January.
Good luck!
