    Last minute, I made Thanksgiving dinner at home for just the three of us. Therefore, I had enough on my hands without baking last minute desserts. We had a delicious Dutch Apple Pie from the supermarket bakery and a blueberry pie that I bought prepared but baked myself. It was from our local dairy/farm stand, and it was so good. Vanilla ice cream on top, of course.

    For the first time ever, my grandma stepped down and had my mom and I cook Thanksgiving dinner.

    My SIL made 3 pies: pumpkin, chocolate with candied ginger sprinkled on top, and a cranberry/walnut one.  Yes, I had all three.  :-)

    Mmm...my mom makes a seriously kick ass pecan pie. I love it. She always makes it with extra nuts so there's not too much filling. I've never been a fan if pumpkin pie.

    Pumpkin, and I love it warm while I eat it. Everyone says it should be cold/room temp in my house. No way!!!

    Thats me! I made pumpkin pie cheesecake for the first time ever. It was alright.
    I also made an Apple crisp and it was the bomb. So much, that it is all I ate Friday. Yes apple crisp for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Yum!!

    I've been eating apple pie for the last couple of weeks so since I was hosting I decided to get something different so I got this cake called death by chocolate from a local bakery it was delicious with vanilla ice cream on top.
