I bought both diapers and wipes the last 2 Black Fridays. The wipes are great, just get the ones that are fragrance free. We haven't bought wipes once outside of those 2 times. :-) Now the diapers I'm not so sure about. In 2010 they were good, no probs. with them. Then 2011, we bought more and those made our DDs bum pink. Same diaper just bigger size. I called customer service and it seemed they had complaints about that and the tabs causing redness too. I haven't decided if I'm going to get diapers this year or not. HTH
We use cloth and Pampers for diapers but I do love their wipes. We also the unscented ones and haven't had any issues. If the diapers are a really good deal I might try them, but I stick with Pampers when we use disposables just because I know they work well. I'm not sure if you have tried Target's Up&Up diapers but they work well for a lot of people and are pretty reasonable.
I grabbed two boxes of wipes while at BRU this morning. I didn't realize that I got the scented until I got home. Do you think it would be best to return them for the unscented? Are they more mild on babies skin?

For a newborn, i would get unscented...their skin is so sensitive.

I agree. I think that if a baby is going to have a reaction, many times it is to fragrances. I would use unscented when they are first born, until you know how sensitive their skin is and then you can use the scented later when they're older. I'm sure you can return them if you want, but they sell out so fast here that if you don't get them in the 1st 2 hours you're out of luck. They last forever, we buy 8 boxes and it gets us through the whole year. Also, watch out for citrus. The wipes our hospital gave us had it as an ingredient and it irritated our LOs skin. :-)
ETA: What I mean is they prob won't be able to exchange b/c they will be out of stock, but if you keep them they still will be good to use even a year later.
