AW:I'm really excited we bought a new fridge but...

The fridge is 35.75 inches wide and my opening is 35.5 inches.  We measured 36" before we bought it.  When we came home we measured again down lower where the counter is.  The counter sticks out and the cabinet on the other side has a little lip.  Angry 

We are going to do a total kitchen overhaul in the next few years, so MH is going to take a belt sander and find the 1/2 inch! Surprise  These cabinets are not staying anyway!

    Oh no. That's the worst! We had the same problem when we bought our fridge a few years ago. We had to seal up a pass through window to the living room and put the fridge there, and find a matching cabinet and countertop for where the old fridge was. It was a total pain to get that all done last minute before the fridge was put in. It was totally worth it though because the new fridge is way better!
