I think it was worse this year because store opened Thanksgiving night, so a lot of people had been up all night waiting in lines shopping. Not a great situation. The longer hours also made staffing the store difficult. It's just one day a year. And vodka makes it better.

Vodka makes most things better. That poses a question- do you have a vodka preference? I think most vodka tastes the same, except for Hawkeye Vodka. That shiz nasty.

I make my Bloody Mary's extra spicy, so not really. Hawkeye Vodka is like death. Crystal is the vodka expert. I'm drinking Smirnoff right now.

The top three alcohol bottles sold in Iowa are almost always Hawkeye Vodka, Captain Morgan, and Black Velvet. I've been to the facility where they distribute all alcohol for the entire state.

*** you, Iowa! Oh, wait... Seriously, you can get a gallon of Hawkeye vodka for like $9.99. We use to get it in HS and a gallon of orange juice and dump out half the orange juice and replace with Hawkeye. It gives you a week long hang over.
