Chicken Pox Vaccine Only

I am due to get my lo his chicken pox vaccine at 19 months old... He's overdue bc of sickness etc. so my question is I have a wedding 4 days after his vaccine... I do t want him to get a reaction with me being away. If I wait, then we're into Christmas time... Wanted to see if you only received the chicken pox vaccine what reactions and when did they happen? Thanks!! I appreciate it. I know some kids get fever/rash about 7-10 days later? That's what they said to me. But could it be sooner?

older daughter actually got a few pox on her arm, but they didn't bother her and my younger daughter nothing.

The only reaction DS had was a welt on his leg where he got the shot but other than that he didn't have a fever or anything like that.

Dd had a 5 day long fever that started 6 days after the shots. However, she also got mmr and flu along with chicken pox, and is teething, so it could be any of those reasons.

I don't remember EXACTLY, because its been nearly 4 months since we had it...but I think the doc said it was like 10-14 days AFTER receiving the vaccine before we'd notice any adverse reactions? DD never had any reactions though.

DS1 got the vaccine---can't recall when exactly but did great--and he's sensitive to so many things--so that was a great relief! GL!
