XP: IKEA easel worth the savings?

Hi ladies, I'm in my phone so if this post is weird I apologize.

We have been eyeing the kid kraft wooden easels for basil for Christmas, but saw the ikea one and were wondering of they are worth the savings. I mean, I don't expect much for $15, but I know my way around a wood shop so I could rebuild the frame easily if it broke really fast....

Any one have one?

We have had ours for 3 years and I'm happy. Our friends have the Melissa & Doug one and while it's nicer, I'd still buy the Ikea one again. Also, I've bought the M&D easel paper and I actually prefer the Ikea paper - it's not as white, but it is much thicker.

The main differences that I've seen are that the white board isn't magnetic and isn't as high of a quality.

We have also had ours for 3 years and have had no problems with it. For me, I don't see the point in spending a bunch of money on something that's just going to get covered in paint. :-D

We have the one from IKEA and love it. We got it for our oldest when she was about 18 months and still have a ton of the paper left.

We've had ours for 2 yrs and counting and it is in great shape. We use it for painting and for the chalk board, haven't really used the white board component. We like the Ikea paper and I bought the Melissa and Doug paint cans, they fit perfectly.

We have one. It's 3.5 years old and has moved twice and is still in great condition. I wouldn't buy a more expensive one after seeing how well the Ikea one has held up!

We've also had ours for two years - we don't use the chalk board or white board really. But I certainly wouldn't pay more given how well this one has worked!
