DS crawled!

My boy decided a great way to spend Thanksgiving would be to finally figure out how to crawl! So far he's been doing this inchworm thing, getting up on hands a knees then plopping down on his belly as he tried to move forward. Yesterday in his great grandma's living room he finally figured out how to coordinate his arms and legs to move forward without plopping down! He still moves pretty slow but it is the cutest! I'm so proud of him. :]
Oh and what prompted this determined forward motion? The computer cord and fake plant in the fancy vase, of course.

congratulations.. my week off is being spent munchkin proofing and clearing things up and getting ready to move some new furnishings in.

Just as well he knows what STOP means... even if he chooses to ignore it at times, because it only tok a couple of tries and this lil man was off and running when he first started to crawl. It's amazing how quickly they figure this out after the first successful attempt.

Aw, cute! DD1 crawled for the first time on Thanksgiving. DD2 still hasn't figured it out yet Our house is pretty much all hardwood so she just slides around. I got my yoga mat out yesterday for her to hang out on and vacuumed the heck out of the carpeted bedrooms so we can hang out in there a little more.

She is also the most motivated by things she's not supposed to have: i.e. my cell phone, DD1's "artwork" etc.
