Just a Vent Holy SINUS pressure!

As long as I can remember when I have a head cold I take some kind of medicine to help with the congestion. Well this time I've been sticking it out. I know there are certain OTC meds my Dr says is okay but I just can't bring myself to take anything other than Tylenol. Which I have still only taken three times including tonight.

I have NEVER had this kind of headache and sinus pain. I feel like someone is stabbing me in the head with multiple steak knives. I am trying hot washcloth on my face and nose as well as putting my head under a towel over a sink full of steaming hot water. Both are helping a little bit but not tremendously yet. I'm afraid I'm going to have to resort to some sort of saline nasal spray situation. icccck. I don't want to!!!

I guess I'm just being a big baby but the fact that this pain has barely diminished since I took the tylenol is getting me closer and closer to having to do the saline spray.

Okay /vent. Anyone else dealing with this or have at other times?? Never thought this could cause this much pain!

I'm sorry, that sucks! I hate sinus pressure and headaches. I would take something else on your list of approved meds to get you through the night/weekend. Have you seen a chiropractor? I always go to mine, especially with sinus stuff and it helps a lot. Definitely worth a try!
