  • I'd say a day is a 24 hour period. If they meant 12 hours, they'd probably write 12 hours??

id give the cefdinir when she wakes up and when she goes to bed. So if she wakes up at 7am give it again at 7pm.

id give the bromfed dm at 7, 11, 3, 7.

hope she gets better soon :(

This. Unless you want to spread it out every 6 hours around the clock, this sounds like the best schedule.

  • You should give the ceftin (antibiotic) as close to every 12 hrs as possible and the Bromfed (decongestant) every 6 hours.

A day is equal to 24 hrs, and antibiotics should be as evenly spaced as possible. I would check with your pediatricians office.  They surely have after hours nurses on call for these types of questions :-)
