  Huge congrats to all the BFPs!  And lots of ((hugs)) to those who need them.

   

  I'm 4dpER and hoping for ET tomorrow - we won't know until 10 or 11 if any of the embies passed PGD (happening today!).  I'm pretty sure I've got mild OHSS which has been uncomfortable at best and sometimes painful.  Drinking lots of Gatorade and eating plenty of salty food and protein.

  QOTD: I'm not sure I can pick just one thing I'm excited to eat today. I did do a ton of cooking: Zesty Broccoli Casserole, Potato Gorgonzola Gratin, ultimate Mac and cheese! Not to mention I made a cheesecake and marshmallow peanut butter chip brownies! Not sure what our families are cooking too so I really can't pick just one thing!

  Eh, I doubt I'll do any black Friday shopping, maybe online. I can't stand the crowds.

  I got my BFP on Tuesday night. I only tested because I was so certain my beta the next morning was going to be negative that I just wanted to get it over with. I was beyond pleasantly surprised!!! Beta #1 came back at 64. I'll repeat on Monday. Super nervous about another loss, it's not like I have a good track record but enjoying every second I get to be pregnant in the meantime.

  Hi Basters and Happy Thanksgiving!

  I am 5dp3dt and going insane. I have had cramping since transfer day and this morning they were pretty bad, like AF cramps but now a little better. Then there's the fatigue, sleeping a ridiculous amount of hours and crying over nothing. Sure this is all related to the PIO and Endometrin but still making me nuts! Pushed beta back to the 30th (if AF doesn't come before then) because it's a Friday and I want to take off work. I am not even halfway there, aaaahhhh!!

  Q: I have been looking forward to this dinner all day I am probably looking forward to mac 'n' cheese the most.

  As far as Black Friday, DH and I may buy tables for our living room and possibly a new TV.

  Appt with Urologist 5/21/12: exam, ultrasound, bloodwork all normal.
  Testicular Biopsy with TESE on 6/8/12. good sperm found! (left side only) froze sperm, failed thaw test
  Orientation for IVF/ICSI on 6/13/12. Waiting for the green light following biopsy results...results show adequate sperm production both sides.
  2nd SA 6/18/12: sample is "adequate for ICSI"
  Plan: IVF/ICSI July 2012!
  ER: 7/26/12. 15 eggs retrieved, all mature.
  TESE/TESA/aspiration from epididymis, no motile sperm found
  froze all eggs, the saga of praying for good sperm continues.

  Happy Thanksgiving to all!

   I had my transfer this morning and was thrilled to find out we had four perfect 8 cell embryos. We transferred three and hope the other, plus maybe the 6 cell makes it to freeze. 

  This was so much better than our first cycle where our best was a six.  

  I am torn between being giddily optimistic and cautious. But it's Thanksgiving, so today is all about optimism that by next Thanksgiving we will have our baby.

  I can't wait for my mom's sweet potato's and my aunts stuffing. Two things that only come out on holidays!

  Happy Thanksgiving Basters! Update on me. I feel like a pin cushion and l look like a drug user lol. I'm on day 7 of stims. My E2 came back yesterday at 793 and started Centrotide yesterday morning at my RE's office. I feel very full but happy things are progressing. ER is estimated for Sunday or Monday. Hoping it goes well and we don't have what happened last time. Any positive thoughts you ladies have please send my way!! I'm so happy to see all the BFPs and sending positive thoughts to those in the 2ww. and thinking of those who received BFN's.

  Me 38 MH 41 - TTC since June 2010 - dx with Severe MFI. Straight to IVF with ICSI. IVF #1 - ER 06/13/12 - 9 Eggs Retrieved - 4 ICSI'd - only 2 fert. 06/15/12 - 2DT - 3 cell & 6 cell with fragmentation. Beta 06/29/12 - IVF #1 = BFN. 07/20/12 - WTF Appt -Told by our RE to quit IVF. Second Opinion from RE is good. IVF#2 - November 2012. Estradiol Pills Started 11/6. Stims start 11/16. ER 11/26 - 7 eggs retrieved - all mature. 4 fertilized with ICSI. ET 11/29 Transferred 3 embryos. Beta is 12/10. 1st Beta 81 2nd Beta 160 and 3rd beta 360!!! First U/S 12/21/12 - We saw one beautiful gest. sac. 2nd U/S is 01/04/2013 - H/B 183 02/05/13 - NT Scan - everything looks good and IT'S A BOY!  Aiden was born 08/20/2013.
  

  IVF #2 is in progress.  ER was 05/12/14 - 11 eggs retrieved, 8 fertilized with ICSI.  ET was 05/15/14 - we transferred 3 embryos as we did on the cycle my son was conceived.  We were able to freeze 3 embryos. Beta is scheduled for 05/26/14.  1st beta - 111.  2nd beta - 159 didn't double 3rd beta Friday 5/30) - not a lot of hope left. Beta # 3 is 247 - probably ectopic.  Beta # 4 is 813 - possibly vanishing multiple sydrome?  06/05/14 - 5w4days - first U/S - we see a gestational sac and yolk - still have hope!  06/17/14 - 7w1day - U/S and saw and heard the heartbeat - Finally!  06/27/14 - 8w4days - Baby and heartbeat look and sound great   EDD 02/01/14 and It's a boy!

  Update: Tuesday was ER. They got 5 eggs. : Of those 5, 3 fertilized. We decided to do AH to give them the best chance. I'm going in tomorrow at 11am for ET!

  #1: I'm looking forward to TURKEY!! I lurves turkey but MH doesn't really care for it so this is the only time I get it. I especially love turkey left overs. MMMmmMmmm

  Happy Thanksgiving!  I'm trying to keep up a bit of hope for my one growing embie, but I'm scared when I arrive for my ET tomorrow they'll tell me it's either stopped growing or looks really bad.  If they even want to do the transfer I'll consider it a small victory.

  Thanksgiving is just my husband and me, since we don't have family nearby and couldn't travel because of all the IVF drama.  But we're making a turkey, cranberries, sweet potatoes, and brussels sprouts, so I'm looking forward to that.

  No Black Friday shopping for us -- I'll be resting after my ET tomorrow, plus I have to admit I don't get the appeal of going shopping on the most crowded shopping day of the year, sales or no sales.  ;-)

  My Day 3 Stims E2 levels were a little low 128 (wanted between 150 and 300) so my RE upped my Follistim from 350 to 400.  Hope my E2 levels are better at my appointment tomorrow.  I am still on track for ER on Wednesday (fingers crossed.)
  

   

  What food are you most looking forward to today??  This year its just the two of us since we couldn't drive 14 hours to be with our families.  I'm making a smaller Thanksgiving meal and just hope it turns out well.

   

  Black Friday shopping ? yay or nah?  What are you getting?  We're thinking about going to Walmart tonight since there are a few video games DH wants that are on sale.  Tomorrow after my appointment we might go to a mall in Charleston.

  Update on me. We're scheduled for 5 day ET on Saturday! Received a call this morning that 7 of our 11 are perfect and that the other 4 are working on catching up. This was the hardest part for me between ER and ET. I need daily updates and they don't give them. ; I've been having terrible nightmares as well which has halted sleep!! Bah!
  
  My favorite food is my Moms homemade stuffing!! I already ate myself into one stupor today!!
  
  I didn't get that female gene to love to shop! I'd be perfectly content if someone would just choose my wardrobe for me every year.

  QOTD: this year we are going out to a steakhouse to eat.  I figure eat all the rare steak I can now.  By the way, saw RE yesterday for pre-op and he said eat all the cholesterol I want, have extra gravy, the cholesterol helps estrogen and progesterone production.

  Repeat MRI July 25,2012- Cyst unchanged, likely old infarction.
  Aug. 8: met with RE, move to injectables if HSG and SA normal
  Aug. 23: HSG all clear; DH- perfect
  Switched to a new RE in early Sept. IVF here we come
  Genetic testing reveals: Fragile X- Intermediate risk/grey zone.
  IVF#1: ER 11/30: 14 retrieved, 10 mature, 7 fertilized. E2 prior to trigger 5200. Decision made to freeze 6 embryos and transfer later due to OHSS.
  IVF#1.2/FET #1: estrogen injects start 1/18, FET delayed to try to thicken lining. lining 5.4mm. FET- 2/18- transferred one 3AA expanded blast. BFP 5dp5dt. Beta #1- 2/27 9dp5dt- 102.27 beta #2 3/1: 147 , beta #3 3/4: 268 told to stop meds and let nature take its course. requested 4th beta (3/6); Beta hell for 2 months.

  FET # 2: endometrial scratch 5/6, added estrace vaginally and ASA to delestrogen and PIO. June 10- transferred one 4AA hatched embryo, BFP 4dp6dt, Beta 1 (9dp6dt) 187, Beta 2 (11dp6dt): 412; Beta 3 (15dp6dt ): 4452. U/S #1- one beautiful embryo with a heartbeat of 133 at 7 weeks.  8 weeks: heartbeat 156. EDD 2/26/2014: born 2-3-14 induced due to Pre-E and HELLP at 36w5d.

  Well my update isn't the best - after a great first beta of 122, my second was only 160.  I go back for another tomorrow morning.  Talked to my doctor today and he said he was still optimistic, so I'm trying not to be too down in the dumps, but last night I woke up at 2am and couldn't get back to sleep until 5 from all the anxiety/sadness.  We are hope hope hope hoping for a great third beta tomorrow, and I appreciate the prayers/virtual hugs from all you ladies.

  I enjoyed homemade stuffing today - my favorite.  And no black Friday for us!  I hate that stuff. But we'll be dealing with crowds nonetheless, taking my 5 nieces and nephews to the science museum!  Hopefully i will be distracted enough, and hopefully they will call me before 4pm - the waiting is turning me into a crazy person.

  I was pleasantly surprised at my monitoring appointment this morning by more follicles! After a very slow start, I'm finally feeling a little more optimistic. My E2 is at 1700, so they want to see me back tomorrow. I'll probably trigger Saturday for a Monday retrieval.
  
  QOTD 1: My dad makes the best filling! It's a Pennsylvania Dutch potato dish [glorified mashed potatoes, if you will.]

  Update: In the dreaded 2WW! Today is 4dp5dt. My beta is currently scheduled for the 27th so hopefully these next couple of days go by fast. I might POAS this weekend I'm not sure yet. Ugh!

  I go tomorrow for monitoring number 2. My estrogen level was low, so they increased my drugs. Feeling pretty good! My ER might be next Wednesday. Of course I have parent/teacher conferences that day and the next day. Trying to not stress about that. This is my priority. Good luck, turkeys!

  Hey ladies! Still on Estrace and Lupron....last day for Lupron is tomorrow...yay!! Will begin progesterone, doxy, and medrol Saturday. Lining check on Tuesday was 9 which is great so we are still on for the transfer next Thursday!!! Looking forward to it but also a bit nervous.

  QOTD: My appetite has been non existant the last few weeks..not sure if its from the Lupron or the Estrace....so not too excited about eating but I will say sweet potatoes....yum!!

  As far as Black Friday shopping....I've never been able to do it because of my work schedule but this year am able to participate......was seriously thinking about it but I'm getting sleepy....don't think I'll make it off the couch!

  TTC since 2006 3 Fertility Clinics Test, Pills & Injectables....oh my. Numerous failed IUI's 7 or 8 or more? IVF #1 June 2012 ~ praying this is the only one ER 6/13/12 - 13 ret, 7 fertilized, 7 progressing, ET 6/15/12, BFN & No freeze babies. Onto IVF #2 in October 2012. No, wait, body not cooperating. IVF #2 in November 2012 IVF #2 Began Provera in Sept to make me start. Never started. I O'd on my own??? 2 weeks of BCPs. Period. Baseline & Labs 10/25 Stims started 10/26 ~ 225 Follistim in the am. 150 Bravelle & 5 Lupron in pm. Trigger 11/4, ER 11/6, ET 11/9 - 2 great embies. 3 Freezebabies. Beta 11/23/2012 BFN. Now what???   I had my ER on Wednesday, they retrieved 12 eggs and 8 are now fertilized.
  I can't wait till another update tomorrow on my little turkeys.
  I am also having pain when I go to the bathroom, so I am increasing my liquids.

  My fav. turkey day food : cranberry sauce
  No black friday shopping: there was nothing I could live without so I snuggled on the couch for the evening.

  Update we have 3 frosties and I am now on 4dp5dt and having menstrual like cramps for a couple of days. I am trying not to get my hopes up.

  My favorite turkey day food: green been casserole.. I love it all

  No black Friday shopping for me I hate crazy crowds...

  Happy Day After Turkey Day!!!

   QOTD:  ~* 2 for the Special Edition! *~

  What food are you most looking forward to today??   - I was soo looking ofrward to all of it... the Turkey, Mash Pots, Corn, Stuff, gravy, pie... the list goes on ans on

  Black Friday shopping ? yay or nah?  What are you getting? - No to the Balck Friday shopping.  I hate crowds and right now i don't wantto stress myself out.

   

   

  Well still in the 2WW.... The BL test is on Monday.... I'm stressing out over that enough.  I'll keep you posted, and i'm praying, and crossing everything!!!

  Hey everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving!

  Update: So 2nd fert report they advised all 10 embies were doing well.

  I will have my transfer of 2 embies at 11am EST. So excited. This week was really rough as I had a lot more pain than the other retrievals, much better today. Now just getting use to the PIO shots and 2 inserts a day of crione.

  What food are you most looking forward to today??  I was happy with the homemade cranberries

  Black Friday shopping ? yay or nah?  What are you getting? I never ever shop this day. I typically will try to go on the small buisness day/Mon.

  Well I guess you can add me to the BFN list. Worst anniversary ever!!! We got the call while we were out for a nice lunch. Not sure what will happen next. Waiting till Monday to follow up with nurse and RE. We plan on trying to cycle again as soon as possible but I guess we need to wait to see what the RE says.
