LO is well beyond the 1 year and 22lbs requirement to ride forward facing (although recommendations are for 2 years). He is 24.5 lbs.
I've got him riding in a britax boulevard rear facing inboard (in the middle seat). He's getting so long and heavy to out in the middle. I'm not sure if I should just move him outboard (behind the passenger) or leave him alone rear facing in the middle.
BTW, when I do swap him forward facing can they sit in the middle still forward facing or should he be moved on the outside?
I plan on leaving him rear facing till he's content. He's got a DVD player that keeps him entertained. So where does your LO sit?

Re: Poll: Where does your LO ride in the car?
my read shelf:
LO is behind the driver seat because I have 2 kids. My DD stayed in the center of the vehicle until she was 4 (moving only if someone was temporarily sitting in her row). The reason for this set up with LO being behind the driver and my DD (5 1/2 YO) being behind the passenger is:
1) DS can't get out of the car on his own, so this provides easy access to him. Also, I rarely have to do anything for him while I'm in the driver's seat so reaching him isn't an issue.
2) Since my DD can hop out of the van on her own, we choose to have her on the curbside.
I just found this video. Previously I watched a different video, much more disturbing(about a true story), but I wont post that one. I will keep DS rear facing until at least 2. BTW the below video is show with crash test dummies)

DS1 stayed in the middle in his infant seat until my pregnancy with DS2 started preventing me from easily getting him in and out of the car. He moved to a convertible RF seat behind the driver's seat around 8 months. DS2 has been rear facing behind the passenger seat since birth-- moved him into the RF convertible car seat back in August.
I plan to leave both of them RF as long as possible, but would ideally like to switch them to FF around the same time...We're going to try to make it to 3 for DS1 and 2 for DS2-- regardless of when we turn DS1 though, DS2 will stay RF until at least 2. (If we don't switch them at the same time, I'll deal with it.)
