Socks?

I've figured out that DD loves to take off her socks. I put them on, 5 minutes later her feet are bare. Luckily, we've only lost one that I haven't found yet. I thought maybe the 3 to 12 month socks were too small for her huge feet, so I got the next size up, 12 to 24 months, and they fit great. Only problem...she still takes them off! I've tried putting shoes over the socks and she pulls off both. It's getting to the point where I put them on only when we're getting out of the car.

What do you do so LO keeps them on? It's going to start getting cold here and I know she needs socks. Plus, I'd even side eye myself if I saw LO out and about with no socks on in the winter!

    DS2 hasn't really started doing this yet, but I put on soft-soled shoes, like Robeez over his socks, which has worked so far!

    LO has been pulling her socks off forever (ok not really forever...). The tall knee socks take longer to pull off. She's often barefoot in the house because of this. At daycare and going out she wears her Robeez, which stay on great!

    I second Robeez and tall socks. Tights work too, but Babysaurus has managed to get those halfway down here legs once or twice! We don't really bother at home and try to keep her busy with something else when we're out, and it usually works pretty well. She hasn't lost any footwear yet at least.
