anyone use the mini pill?

I have been using the mini pill for about 3 months now and this month I got my first pp period.  I was breastfeeding up until almost 2 months ago so that would explain the late onset of my first period.  But, my period arrived in the middle of my pill pack.  Is this normal for the mini pill or does it normally come during the last week of pills?

    the mini pill is a constant dose of hormones unlike the combination pills which change hormone levels each week. So your period can arrive at any time on the mini pill. Your periods may settle into a cycle or they may be completely irregular or disappear entirely. Mine completely disappeared after 3 months for the first 2 years I was on it.
