Still ticked at DH

LAst night at 11:00 DS started coughing and he wouldn't stop. None of the croup tricks worked.  I rocked him, I cuddled him until it stopped about half an hour later.  When he was breathing I could hear this whistle coming from his chest and he was just limp.  He was awake but he was limp.  DS doesn't do limp.  DS sick is angry.  Not limp.  My spidey sense was tingling so I went to talk to DH, "You are over reacting.  He's fine.  You are just tired.  Go back to bed."  I was kind of mad.  I told him that there was something up.  That his croup was different and not in a good way.  I walked out of our room and called telehealth. SHe heard the whistle and a new thing.  DS would breath for a few breaths and then stop and then start again a few seconds later.  She told me to get him to the hospital immediately.  This was around 12;30

I got to the hospital and 4 hours later,  DS has a cold,  what it's doing is causing him to cough a non croup cough, which is irritating the croup and making it hard to breathe.  His strider is returning and his airway is swollen. I have new instructions with how to care for him to make his breathing easier.  They also told me that there should be more improvement than there is and that they wouldn't be surprised if I had to bring him back in a couple of days. 

So we got home around 5am.  I hadn't slept.  Was pissed at DH for making me feel like an idiot for going in.  I said, "I would rather go in and be told it's nothing than to not go in and have something be really wrong."  He basically rolled his eyes at me.

Then this morning, he got up half an hour after I went to bed,  made a sh!t ton of noise, went to the gym and came back made more noise and turned on lights.  Making it so I kept waking up.  He then called me and had the nerve to tell me he was tired.

Yes he is in charge of the kids tonight.  He is coming home and I am going to bed. He can do dinner and baths and bedtime.  Unless DS in distress again I am going to kick DH every time DS wakes up.

    I am sorry your DS is so sick and YH is being a huge jerk. Hope your kiddos get healthy super quick.

    What is wrong with men? Honestly! If anyone else is sick, they just need to suck it up. If he's sick, he's an absolute helpless mess that needs to be waited on hand and foot. Not cool.
