"baby" - is your LO obsessed, too?

I have no idea where DS picked up the word "baby" (or "bay BEE," as he pronounces it), but about a week ago he started randomly saying it. I didn't teach it to him,

When he was younger, other little kids would always point to him at the store and say "baby." Now, he sees other kids - even up to age 2 - and starts saying "baby" when he sees them.

At Walmart today, another girl (probably around 2) saw him, pointined and started saying "baby," then DS saw her and started saying "baby" - it was quite hilarious.  They finally stopped when we went around a corner and they couldn't see each other again.

    Jack loves babies and saying the word baby. It's so cute, isn't it? He says it to kids, pictures of kids and babies, babies, toddlers, pretty much anyone.

    Oh yes, except my DD doesn't refer to actual human beings as a "baby" but rather every baby doll and stuffed animal she spots.

    Aww, that's so cute! 

    Yes, DD loves babies.  She's always giggling and pointing to them in the stores.
