I went to Target over lunch and got everyone's stocking stuffers. I spent too much. ugh. I might do away with them next year. Or just perhaps tone it down a bit. They end up costing me more than gifts! But...stockings are so fun....oh the humanity!
Lufa, bodywash, chap stick, new work gloves, lottery tickets and $5 to wawa(it's like 7-11 for those who don't know)
DS is usually socks, a cmas stuffed animal, candy pops of some sort, coloring book or last year is was filled with Thomas Trains. A stocking of trains he loved it. This year I may do matchbox cars
We didn't do stockings growing up either. So I tend to overboard on DS's too, because I think it's so much fun. I racked up at Target yesterday in their dollar section and found several things for DS. I don't know that all of his stocking stuffers will actually FIT in his stocking!!
Oh yeah, that has always been my fav. I go way overboard too, one reason why dh & I are only doing stockings for each other this year.
I always get him a gift, this year it is 2 shirts (I'll roll them up & stuff them in the bottom), candy, little handheld game, anything else he may need that will fit (like chapstick, cologne)
For DD I'm not sure yet, I've been thinking about it, but we'll see what I pick up when I shop for it!
I've been pulling stuff from the dollar bins at Target for a while now for stockings. I shop stockings thru out the year.
I do LOOOVE that isle they have that's all stocking stuffers! I do go a bit bizzerk with it though.
Dylan LOVED that little snow globe thing that had the spinning LED lights. I was excited to find them there again this year.
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
I also bought a 6x6 photo album from Michael's today to put in their "Baby's First Christmas" stockings from last year (I bought them their "real" ones this year). ?The plan is to put a picture in it each year & write a little blurb about what they did that year. ?We'll see how many years I can keep it up...or if I actually even start it, LOL!
I love the whole "stocking" idea. My parents always packed them full! That was the best after opening our presents. Now my parents stuff mine with necessities, which is nice. I plan on filling DD's with socks, little books, and a few little toys.
Re: Do you do stocking stuffers?
they were my favorite part too.
we got tick tacks, toothbrushes, candy little fun things. As grown ups what we do is divide it, each person gets everyone one stocking stuffer. ?
This Dh's almost every year.

I just put whatever small gifts fit in there. This year most of DH's stuff will be in his stocking because it's all small (expensive) stuff.
When I was a teenager, I usually got a piece of jewelry in the toe of my stocking, so I'll do that with DD when she's older.
yep. ?Stockings are fun!
