We made it!

Got through the first trimester!  This is what we've had our sights on since the positive test.  We had our NT scan today and everything looks great!  Baby was bouncing around and "clapping" so it was pretty awesome.

Now that we made it we have started announcing.  Only our parents knew at this point.  We spent tonight calling the rest of the family.  Feels good to be able to talk about it.

    Congratulations! I know we are excited to get to that point as well, even though we haven't been too concerned about not making it. Here's to another 26 weeks! :)

    Congrats, my wife is getting itchy about not being able to talk about it.  It will be a long two months, we are not going to announce until Christmas.

    Great news on the milestone.  You know this is a special trimester for her.  Food will never taste better for her. Morning sickness disappears.  She will be full of energy and at times you will think she is glowing.  The second trimester is a lot of fun, and be prepared, sex is great too!!!!!!!

    We took our babymoon late second trimester.  It was really one of our best overnight trips ever, The Drake in Chicago.  I would strongly suggest  you take that babymoon, because once the third kicks in, and the baby comes, no more trips like that for a long, long time.

    this will be my first kid, so i'm sorry... but I only waited about 3.5 minutes after I found out to start calling people!  not EVERYONE (fox news didnt answer) but our parrents, siblings, and one best friend each.  did I over do it?  never mind, I dont care if I did!

     I'll be amazed if I dont get fired from my job in the next week or two, I have done absolutly NOTHING other than surf the web trying to find the coolest baby stuff they make, I even found a bad-ass " New Orleans Saints" backpack/diaper bag... I know, Y'all are jealous!

    hey, quick question... what are those "POINTS" that are listed by my name where it also says how many posts I've made?

    Good question.....I have never really cared about the points, so I do not know.
