I swore that this year I was not going to wait until 2 weeks before christmas and do them in a frenzy so I am trying to get them ordered now. Where are you guys getting yours from? any good deals to share? TIA.

  • I am hoping to get someone to take a good picture or two on Thanksgiving that we can hopefully use for our card so I haven't really looked at cards yet. I will look at Shutterfly, Snapfish, TinyPrints, Picaboo and where ever else and try to pick the best deal.

Sorry, I know that wasn't very helpful Stick out tongue

  • I got mine over a months ago (yes I was prepared this year), it helped that we did professional pictures in September. I got mine from shutterfly and they look great. I got 50% off the photo cards. I think they still may be even having a deal on cards today.

They have cut way down on the spam, but now you have to ::gasp:: actually pay for stuff! It used to be everything was free, just pay shipping. Those were the days.

Really?  I get a ton of stuff from TinyPrints (and I only ever ordered E's birth announcements) but I've made several orders from VistaPrint and I almost never hear from them. ..

  • I'm getting mine thru Target, I think.  I did a photo shoot with the two kids back in September (which was a disaster, BTW) and I think I'm just going to create a card and have it be done and over with.  I don't *love* the photo of them together but it's pretty good... plus the thought of having to potentially dress a 1 and 2 yo in a nice outfit, have them sit still and somehow get a decent shot is enough to make my head explode.  So quick and easy it is this year!

  • I love Vistaprint for all my business printing but hate them for personal print items. I have tried calendars and photo cards.. both came out very disappointing. I would not do it.

Shutterfly and MPix usually have great products

  • I normally use Costco.  I think they still have 50 cards for $10...

  • Usually I use Shutterfly and have had good results. I always wait until there is a sale, which there usually is around T-day. FYI, Shutterfly now owns tinyprints.

  • I most often use Snapfish.  I don't know if they have a deal right now (there was 50% off cards recently) but if you get on their mailing list, they have CONSTANT deals through Christmas.  They do send a ton of emails, but they have good deals, so I let them stay in my inbox.  Recently they also had a deal of like buy 1 photo book get 2 free or something along those lines.  Photobooks for the grandmas!

This exactly. We take a nice photo annd then either upload to their website or bring it into the store The prints are ready in a couple of hours. They look great and the cost is perfect...can't beat it.

  • I think I'm going to use cardstore.com this year. I got a mailer with a good discount code, and they will mail the cards for me if I upload the addresses.

I need to research it a little more, but hopefully this is what I'm doing. Now I just need to get decent pics to put on the card!
