Hello everyone. I never introduced here, because I kept saying, oh I'll wait until the next ultrasound to make sure very thing is okay... Well, here I am, and everything isn't okay,
Last thursday, at my routine OB appointment i was informed that at my last ultrasound they had trouble finding the membrane, so they wanted me to see an MFM. i got an appointment that same day, and they confirmed they were mono di. I was then referred to Columbia, and I had my appointment there today, and while at only 15 weeks, I don't have an official diagnosis, he thinks that by the time I come back on Wednesday, we'll be at a stage II.
I know none of you know me yet, but I'm just so worried and scared for my babies, so any thoughts and prayers you can share would be soo appreciated.
thanks ladies
Re: Intro / Identicals have TTTS
I agree with every thing Pixiem said. Also, you mentioned Columbia, do you mean Columbia Presbyterian in NYC? My doctors are at Cornell and we were almost on our way to CHOPS in philadelphia due to early signs of ttts. If you are in the Ny area, definitely consider going for a consult at CHOPS, they are experts in treating ttts.
I know this is scary and I am so sorry anyone has to go through this, take it one day at a time. Sending you lots of thoughts and prayers.
