I have seen all these ladies with the super cute moving pics at the bottom or in the body of their posts.

First where do you go to find them? Second how to you add them in?

Help me out ladies!!

That's to add to the body. To the signature I have no idea. Mine is big enough as it is! LOL

Trying some new things out and was looking for some help from you ladies as well as other boards. Not sure why I am getting negativity. PS looking to change my siggy which is why I was asking for this info in the first place.

In the tools section of the site there was a section that took me straight to the tickers and instructed on how to make and apply one. I have tried to do a Gif but it didnt work which led to me asking my question.

It's a pain, but it can be done.  They work exactly like .jpg's.  When I would mobile bump, I'd open up the image in it's own window and copy the location from the address bar then go back to the board / reply and use the [IMG] code and paste it to the reply.  I was never able to resize when I'd mobile bump, though.  I never figured out the code for that.

Yes. I do it all the time. It can be done but is a pain in the Wang to find good gifs while mobile bumping/ googling.

If my code didn't show up for you, it's open-bracket IMG closed-bracket (no spaces) followed by open-bracket forward-slash IMG closed-bracket.

i.e. [IMG*] at the beginning and [/IMG*] at the end. Just remove the *

i have conversations with pregnant women all the time, no issue there. What I have an issue with is you pretending we're the q&a section of the bump.

especially when you're coming from first try where they have a giant hyperlink to a "Technical FAQ" at the top of the forum and our mod (Ambsies) has links to her own Bump help section in her sig that I know for a fact includes directions on adding gifs. So, essentially, you were just too lazy to do any work to find the answer on your own and figured why bother when you can just scoot over and ask ttgp. Puffy.

Actually she also asked her BMB and 1st Tri so there was no need to ask here as well. And yes, I actually think it's crazy that someone who barely participated on this board when she was TTC and got called on her drive by BFP would come back here to ask us this oh so important question.

She's 9 weeks pregnant. Presumably she goes on 1st tri at times and at the very top of their forum is a hyperlink to Technical FAQ section and their mod also has her own FAQ linked in her sig that tells how to gif. I've looked at her FAQ myself so I know it's there.

the issue is that she wasn't a contributing member of this community and is using us instead of doing a little homework herself.

You get an eye-roll too because you couldn't be bothered to pay attention to the fact that she posted this on 1st Tri and her BMB in addition to TTGP. There was no need to post it here - her BFP was a drive-by anyway, she just did it because her BMB and Tri board didn't post quickly enough for her to be satisfied.

If you want to be a contributing member of this board - an ACTUAL contributing member and not just someone who does a half-azz white knight for a completely stupid reason - READ the crap you're having a conniption over BEFORE you have a conniption.

I think your post is more embarrassing than mine, considering you didn't read or consider the actual post and its purpose before you felt compelled to respond. OP doesn't need a GIF tutorial from TTGP - she did just fine in posting a non-animated photo in her sig - she needs a lesson in patience and I'm sure she would have gotten a response in a reasonable amount of time. It's a fuuucking siggy, it's not a life or death matter.

I was not trying stick up for her, I was more pointing out the fact that it is a little silly to get worked up over what could and probably was a harmless question. She was not asking what you all thought about a baby name or how she should announce her pregnancy she was asking how to insert a gif into a post. The fact that most jumped to the conclusion that she was trying to rub a pregnancy in their faces is more ridiculous in my opinion than the OP posting a question about how to post a gif. Just all seems like a big overreaction on some people's part. Are you the bigger person because you choose not to respond? Yet here we both are in the same thread, so I am not following your logic.
