Thanksgiving Poll Non Clicky for Fun

Just for fun...I am getting excited for Thanksgiving:)

1. What are your Thanksgiving plans?

2. If you're traveling with LO, what is your #1 piece of advice for fellow moms?

3. Are you dressing your LO in anything "special" for Turkey Day?

TIA!

I'll start...we are hosting about 20 people at our house on Thursday. No travel, but I am looking forward to all the advice because we are traveling for Christmas:) I have a long-sleeve onesie I got on clearance last year that has a turkey on it and says "I'm Stuffed!".  It's dorky but super cute...so probably that with jeans or sweatpants.

    1. What are your Thanksgiving plans? Mom and SD at our place.

    2. If you're traveling with LO, what is your #1 piece of advice for fellow moms? Not travelling this time, but #1 piece of advice would be to take your time. Being in a rush and having a strict schedule with an infant, or toddler, is just asking for a migraine.

    3. Are you dressing your LO in anything "special" for Turkey Day? Nope. I got DS2 2 seasonably appropriate onesies, since he's bound to pee or spit up through one, and DS1 some khakis and a nice shirt, but neither boy is wearing something that screams "Thanksgiving."

  • We are going to my parents for dinner and my inlaws for dessert. They both live 5 minutes from us and from eachother so no traveling for us.

My Aunt gave us a "My First Thanksgiving" onesie that we are putting her in. My AUnt must say everytime I see her, "now that onesie will fit her right?! I can't wait to see her in it!" Not that I don't want to put her in it because it is really cute but if I didn't I think my aunt would die.

  • 1. My husband is cooking dinner again this year. Its only his second time, so he is super excited!

    2. No traveling, but if I was to go somewhere, I would be sure to pack a car full of 'new' toys. (by new, it can be an old toy that haven't played with in a while or something cheap from the $1 section at target)

    3. My almost 3 year old will be in a thanksgiving themed shirt, but for my 4 month old there is no point dressing her up! She goes through about 3 outfits a day so she will just be in something comfy.

  • 1. We are flying to my IL's house for Thanksgiving.

    2. We are flying but have no advice since this is our first trip with DS!

    3. He is wearing a onesie that says Mommy's Little Turkey with striped pants and a turkey on the butt. There is also a mathching turkey bib that goes with it!

  • 1. We are driving from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia to Pittsburgh, PA, to visit DH's grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

     2. It will take forever. We will stop a dozen times. I have made peace with that already, so we won't mind when it happens.

    3.  My MIL bought him a onesie that says "Mommy's Little Turkey" that came with cute pants with a turkey on the bottom. I'm lucky - she always picks out the cutest things for him!

    1. What are your Thanksgiving plans? Most likely going to my parent's place so I can see my family. They live about 3 hours away.

    2. If you're traveling with LO, what is your #1 piece of advice for fellow moms? I just make sure I make a list of everything before hand so I don't forget anything. Also, always bring a few extra outfits just in case. Things like Diapers and formula you can get most places so if I underestimate I know it's not a big deal but with clothing I'd rather not have to go out and buy a whole new outfit.

    3. Are you dressing your LO in anything "special" for Turkey Day? She has a My First Thanksgiving shirt from ON and a pair of Turkey Butt brown pants to wear with it. The feet say Gobble Gobble on them :)

  • We're traveling to NYC for Thanksgiving and staying with my cousins in Brooklyn. I'm from NY, so I have plenty of family there. My only advice is if you & your H are traveling alone with the baby, have someone sit in the back to feed LO or entertain him- it gets pretty boring for the babies back there during a long trip. DS is going to wear a long sleeve osh kosh onsie under overalls.
