This may be premature but I don't have anyone else to talk to! Got married in July, sort of started TTC in August and just got my 1st BFP today! I was due to start my period today, but after a few days of cramps, sore breasts and frequent urination (all very unusual for me), I just had this feeling that if no AF this AM, I had to POAS. I am 35, will be 36 in January, so while I wanted to GP right away, I really did not expect anything to happen so soon as we have not been charting and I haven't even seen a Dr. A bit concerned now. I AM on prenatal vitamins. What should I do now? Is it too early to see a Ob-gyn?

BFP #2 5/7/13 EDD 1/14/2014 Ectopic discovered 5/21/13, lost left tube
Referred to RE, blood work done August 2013, AMH 0.27, all else normal, HSG clear
BFP #3 12/1/13 EDD 8/8/14, MC 12/24/13
January 2014: RE #2, blood work repeated, homozygous MTHFR c677t, SHG clear
BFP #4 4/7/14 EDD 12/15/14 Our rainbow was born 12/6/14 at 4:26pm! <3

    Congratulations!

    Get thee to a doctor to get your blood drawn for your beta/HCG level! Then, you'll get a 2nd one to see if you're doubling/increasing appropriately. The doctor will direct you from there!

    Congrats! danieleandwayne has good advice but don't be surprised if your OB doesn't want to see you until 8/9 weeks. Unless you've been actively going for ttc issues or are experiencing concerning symptoms, they usually won't rush to get you in. But keep taking your prenatals!

    Congrats!  You can call your doc now but they might not see you right away.  Mine schedules first appointments between 8-10 weeks.

    Congrats! Do call the OB, but as others said, you may not get in to see him/her right away. Just keep taking those prenatals and buckle up for an amazing adventure!

    Thanks! That's my plan for now...got a referral to an OB close by and will be calling her soon. Judging by posts on this board, seems typical to go in around the 9-10 week mark? Unless of course there are concerns. 

    Now I'm thinking about how to keep it a secret until we can reach that mark or so. With the holidays coming up, going to be tough since I've always been a big drinker. I think I can get through Thanksgiving unscathed, after all, I could have a cold! I just hope I have reason to still be trying to hide for Christmas!!!
