Remember that time I was having the girls' picture taken and I asked you all for your opinion? Well, it looks like it's that time again. We're doing family pictures later this week, and I (again) can't decide how to dress the girls. I intend to use the picture for our Christmas cards and possibly have some framed for the house
So, what say the Aug 11 mommies?
Note: You can click on the pictures for a larger view

Picture 1 - Both outfits are DD1's. The dress to the right also has a pink belt, but it's in the girls' room right now and I,m not going to risk waking them ![]()

Picture 2 - One of DD1's favourites. It's her "Hello Kitty with houses" dress

Picture 3 - Knit dresses. If I pick one, I have to pick both because DD1 absolutely insists her sister wears hers whenever she has hers on.

Picture 4 - The dress in the middle is DD1's, the other 2 outfits are DD2's. The pattern on the dress to the left is slightly of Asian inspiration. The skirt to the right is a shimmering black and the flower thing is actually a brooch that can be removed.

Picture 5 - The dress in the middle is DD1's, the other 2 dresses are DD2's. DD1's dress is navy blue and the pattern is actually all little heart.

Picture 6 - Again, the dress in the middle is DD1's, the other 2 dresses are DD2's. The dress to the left has an empire waist, with the top part being velvet and the bottom part being sequins.

Picture 7 - Other tights/leggings options. The grey leggings to the right are DD1's. The other leggings and tights are DD2's.
Re: Remember that time...
I also really like the navy dress with the hearts and the ruffled pink dress. Which you could pair with a grey cardigan does DD2 have a grey cardigan? and tights.
Super cute!!! I also love the hello kitty dress, but didn't see any of DD2's options that necessarily go with it.
Love the sweater dresses!
Next would be the red dresses black skirt bottom for Christmas.
Thanks all for your input!
I think I'm going to go in with the girls wearing their knit dresses (option 3) and bring their Holiday clothes (option 4) as well (hoping they cooperate). I feel the knit dresses will work great for family portraits to be hung on our walls all year-round, while the Christmas garb might look weird come July - but great on our Christmas cards. And if we can't do the clothes change, then the knit dresses would still work for our Christmas cards.
Also, we are going at 7PM. That means the girls will fall asleep on the way home, so I am bringing their pj's to avoid having to wake them to change them once we get home. I might get Christmas jammies there (we're doing the pictures at Sears) and sneak in a few pictures of the girls in them as well (thanks for the idea Kimbus!). Heck I'm even thinking about bringing a plate and some cookies as props
