What presents are you getting for your LO?
I finished shopping in September. LO is getting the following:
The Magica Rattle
Munchkin Sea and Learn Bath Shapes
Melissa and Doug 60 Piece Wooden Block Set
Green Sprouts Stacking Cups
Melissa and Doug Shape Sorting Cube
Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Swing
Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Love to Play Puppy
Green Toys my First Stacker
A Robot Blanket and Matching Robot lovie that I made for him.
My mom is setting up a savings account for him and putting a few hundred dollars in it. MIL bought him a ton of clothes and a Sophie gift set (the teether and the stuffed one). He already has a sophie but he loves it so much I told her having another one was probably a good idea. haha! The rest of the family will be giving him clothes for the most part. We requested clothes rather than toys because we don't have very much for him to wear past the 6 month stage, and because we don't have the space for too much stuff. WE wanted to get him the toys we wanted him to have, and we managed to get it all for under $120!
Re: Christmas Post- Presents!
OMG I love Christmas!
But I have yet to start... I cant wait to hear some lists to help me make mine :P
Ha ha thats what I posted it for. I feel like I've bought plenty and I don't want to get any more..BUT if someone posts something that I like a lot I might have to scoop it up.
Thats how I am feeling about your Infant to Toddler swing!
$17!! I saw it and had to get it. LO LOVES to swing so I figured $17 is worth the money even if we only use it once a week. We have a huge deck with a cover to attach it to. Its probably the gift I'm most excited about. haha
ETA: When I bought it on amazon it was down to $17! Its back up to $25 now. =(
Wow, you really went all out!
Maybe I should feel guilty but I'm not getting anything for LO. He gets new things all the time since he's always growing out of his clothes, or whenever I see a cute toy at the consignment store, so I don't feel the need to spend a bunch of money on things that he'll never remember anyways.
Also, since we live 12-14 hours from ALL our family, I know he's going to get a butt load of presents from them.
-A Play yard....it has 2 stages....one where it's enclosed completely so he can sit in it without falling over and when he can sit on his own it expands out. It's really cute and even has a mini slide on it!
-A push toy....I forget the name of it but it's the fisher price one that has a long handle and a dome at the end with little balls inside that pop when you push it.
-A play phone
-Stackable learning bowls/cups from Tuppaware
-A glow worm....still have to buy this.
That is all we are getting him because I know other people are going to spoil him too lol. The in laws already bought him a little red wagon for xmas and they said they aren't done yet
We still have a ton of baby toys from when DS was little. So we are adding to it for Samantha:
1. Laugh and Learn tea set
2. Vtech move and crawl ball
3.Go baby go dino ball popper
4.Laugh and learn puppy piano
I'll probably get her some bath toys for her stocking too....
1. Bath crayons... so fun!
2. Baby Bubble Bath
3. ABC photo book I made for him
4. Bath toys
Our budget was $100 and the photobook was $50, so we will get him a few small things. Our family members went crazy so I know he will have tons and tons of gifts.
That's nice. My aunts basically chewed me up when I suggested they buy DD things for feeding time (bowls, spoons, etc.). They said they want to buy things for HER, not for ME. LOL Oh well, no big deal, I'm sure DD will enjoy more toys. We don't have a lot right now anyway.
You mean she thinks that you are going to eat out of the bowls and use the spoons!?!? Hahaha sometimes people just don't think.
I'm so excited for Christmas this year, DH and I got all of Alina's gifts already (she's the easy one to shop for lol)
-She has her own Christmas stocking and ornament (both say baby's first christmas)
-Some little toys and a bib in her stocking
-A curious george christmas book
-Mr potato head (with big pieces)
-Big building blocks
-Fisher price snap lock catepillar
-Fisher price apptivity monkey
-Christmas pjs (a tradition to get new pjs to wear christmas morning)
We also celebrate Hanukkah so she got a Hanukkah book and a pop up dreidel toy
