We are headed to Ghana after the birth of this baby. Well, hubby is already there. We just finished 2 years in Thailand and I am home to deliver. Would love to chat with other expats in Africa!

    I'm in South Africa, but have lived in Zambia and Tanzania as well. Been on this wonderful, crazy continent for seven years now. Welcome! Watch out. The quote goes..."everything bites in Africa. The lions bite, the tsetse flies bite. But what bites most is Africa herself, and once she does, she never lets you go."

     

    I was supposed to be here for six months. That worked out well.

    I wish I knew about this group before! I was in Angola for a short time and South Africa before that!

    I am jealous of all of you.  I've been trying to finagle a transfer to Africa for years now.  I've spent a summer in Malawi and holidays in RSA and it's the one continent on earth I'd actually be super excited to get to live in.
