This is a check-in for the ladies of TTCAL who are also going through any stage of infertility from developing a plan, waiting to start treatment, starting treatment or in the 2WW. Most of us never thought that we would have to go through such difficult struggles, so let's try to lighten each others burdens with support and understanding.

**If you aren't sure if you fit in, the rule of thumb is that you are under the care of an RE and/or have been trying to conceive for 12 months or more consecutively.**

If you'd like to join the group, please respond and I will add you going forward.

Sorry, the check-in is a full week late. I know a lot of the information I have on everyone is way out of date! Bear with me! Fill us in with what is going on this week with everyone! We are TTC. There is a chance this month that we're already working with "better sperm" as DH is over 72 days post-op, but his official post-op SA isn't for another 3 weeks.

QOTW: I'm one of the weird ones that never really thinks about what I want for presents. I really need a new phone, but that's what DH got me last year...

May I join? We are unexplained, both for the 2 losses and the subsequent IF. I do have a mildly arcuate uterus, and I tested pre-diabetes, but the lowest possible pre-diabetes there is. Neither of those concerned my RE, but of course I'm trying to eat well and be active in order to get back into a normal blood sugar control range.

I'm starting my first Femara cycle in about a week. We will do Femara CD 3-7, a monitoring ultrasound around CD 12-14 (guided by OPKs), TI, and progesterone suppositories from 3dpo to 14dpo (or first tri if BFP). I'm both hopeful and kinda just numb. I have no idea how my body will respond to ovulation induction meds.

QOTW - Hmm, for Christmas, I'm hoping most for gift cards to go shopping for new clothes.

First of all, Laurakat FX for you for that BFP!! And ((hugs)) to everyone else!

We are actually going for our first IUI tomorrow! I triggered last night and had tons of EWCM this morning and everything seems to be going as it should. Hoping to have two mature follicles for tomorrow morning. At monitoring they said we'd for sure have one mature one, hoping the other smaller one caught up!

GTKY: I am the worst- I really don't want anything for Christmas. All of the things I want are big things, like a house! I think I'll just look forward to getting cash to buy more clothes I don't need!

We have the same Dx! Just wanted to give you some hope- MH's count went way up from the surgery. I have FX for you that you see lots of improvement!

Currently cd 6, day 4 of femara, for another medicated cycle. I threw away my thermometer for out Vegas trip, and have decided to just drop it for now. One less thing for me to obsess over, especially since I know the meds mess with my temps any way. Currently waiting for a call back from the new clinic to set up a consult. Hopefully I can get in by the first week of December.

QOTW: I'd really like cash to help fund our IVF, but I've had a list for the last few months. My birthday is also 3 days after Christmas, so it's used as a combined list.

I'd like a ring to mark what would have been our baby's EDD.

An external flash for my camera. Mine died on our Nashville/Memphis trip.

A new handbag.

And a new set of knives.

I would love to not move on to IVF, but I don't feel very hopeful about it. We're in the 2WW wait here, so we'll see what happens.

QOTW: I'm so boring - I told DH I wanted a new vacuum, ours is horrible. He told me that's not a present. He's good at picking out clothes though, so that will probably be what I end up getting.

Hi Ladies! How is everyone doing?

I'm on CD11 and am just waiting to O so I can get this show on the road. At the very latest, I will be having my IUI on Sunday.

QOTW: The one thing I'm really hoping for is some type of workout machine. It's been so difficult getting to the gym that I'm hoping I can catch up on some exercise at home. Thankfully it's been so nice outside that I've been able to walk a little longer outdoors

Yup - TTA. If AF cooperates she should arrive later this week, then we're back to TTC. My consult is tomorrow. I'm really nervous for some reason. It's just a consult.

I'd like to join this check-in if you'll have me Smile

DH and I just decided to go ahead and TTC this cycle. We've been TTA since my ectopic/mtx/lap experience back in June and then testing (x-rays, scopes and more x-rays) for my esophagus issues. My last test is scheduled for this Wednesday and I usually do not O before CD 15 (Wednesday) so we decided to give it a go. We're holding on for Tx cycles until spring. My RE recommends IVF, but financially we're not ready. We may do some more follistim cycles with IUI, but still- not sure yet.

QOTW: I honestly don't have anything special in mind that I want for Christmas! I will be happy if I get Nook gift certificates though Smile

I'm just waiting for AF to show now so I can schedule my CD3 blood work, DH's SA & another HSG. hopefully the HSG will show clear tubes so IUI can be an option.

lovelainie - How did your follow up go? Big BOOO for AF though, I hope this is your cycle! The follow-up went well. The short version is that he removed some stage 1 endo, a benign polyp from the right side of my ute, almost blocking my cervix, and two cysts that were also on the right wall of my ute, and were almost completely blocking my tube. Now that all of that is cleared out, we're TTC on our own for the next couple or three months, and if we're not KU by the end of January or February, we'll go back and do more medicated IUI cycles. I'm hoping this cycle is a repeat of last cycle, in the sense that I O'd earlier than ever before on a natural cycle, and had a full week of EWCM (all of this happened before we were cleared to have sex after surgery). QOTW: I told DH I want one of the portable photo scanners, because I want to start hanging out at my great-grandma's house scanning the ten trillion pictures she has, and writing down who everyone is and how they're related to me (or how she knew them). I know I'm incredibly lucky to still have her around, and I want to absorb as much of her knowledge as possible while I can. Everyone else has been (gently) instructed to buy me gift cards for clothes or yarn.

Always see this so late but here it goes...

Update on me? Having a rough day and week- a year ago was my last loss DH and I have been getting medical bills up the ying yang so we are holding out on doing another IUI until who knows when! Our deductable kicks back in again the new year so this was our last cycle coming up but its def a no go Feeling pretty down about it but trying to be thankful for what we have and that we can at least try on our own until we do IUI again. So for now we are trying on our own with the meds in my siggy- fx that it works and we actually don't need to do IUI again- maybe ?!?!

QOTW: I would LOVE to be able to pay all of our medical bills so $ would be fabulous Or next on my list is some sort of jewelry to remember my losses and celebrate my two angel babies. I told DH someday when we have extra money I would love to look into a necklace or bracelet.

Update: I have my first appointment on Wed for monitoring. After this appointment we should receive our plan to start with our 2nd egg retrieval. We aren't sure if we are doing a fresh or frozen transfer. We still need to talk with the genetics lab about when to do the PGS. I'm very nervous because I am AMA and I worry if I have good quality eggs left.

QOTW: I want Barnes and Nobel gift cards. I'm easy to please.

We drove from Houston to Little Rock, then Little Rock to Memphis. On our way way home from Nashville, we went through Birmingham, Jackson and New Orleans. It was fun, but way too much time in a car for my liking!
