Food: We are ordering a meat like pulled chicken or pork. We would do hamburgers and hot dogs but I don't want DH to have to cook the whole time. Meat, baked beans, meatballs, fruit tray, vegetable tray, punch, rolls and of course, cake!
Games: We won't be doing games because we won't have a lot of kids there. A few babies but that is it.
Favors: Not sure if we are going to do much. I was thinking of doing some candy of some sort like M & M's.
Gift you are giving LO: Not sure yet! I've been eye train sets, wagons, and toy boxes.
Number of expected guests: Probably about 10Theme: SnowflakesFood: I think I will just do cake and hot chocolate. Nothing huge.Games: No games. I hate games.Favors: I don't think we will do favours.Gift you are giving LO: Books! I am so sick of reading all of the books we have. It's really more of a present for me.
Number of expected guests: 13-14 total. This includes DS, myself, DH, and DD.
Theme: Monsters
Food: Burgers, hotdogs, salad, chips, fruit, etc. Of course cake and icecream!
Games: If the weather is nice we will be outside so the kids will have their ride on toys and can do whatever they like.
Favors: Stuffed monsters.
Gift you are giving LO: Kawasaki 6 volt ATV, and a big boy blanket.
*And any additional info! *The fruit I will be taking a watermelon and cutting it to look like a monster and will have a mixture of fruit appear as if it's pouring out of it's mouth. I saw this on a few blogs and sites and it looked really cute. Also doing some other DIY decorations.

Number of expected guests: Probably just us four. I like celebrating on the actually day, so that means Monday after Thanksgiving, so I know my family can't make it and my inlaws probably won't.
Food: Hot chocolate bar, coffee punch, mostly candy and sweets, cake, possibly some veggies, and maybe some bbq pulled venison (I just got the deer I killed in the freezer yesterday and have a lot of roasts from it, and since everyone I know loves venison, this would be the VERY cheap (read FREE) way to feed everyone some actual food!)
Games: No games, but I have some penguin/polar bear foam cut outs with scarfs and hats that the kids can decorate if they want, or take them home.
Favors: We are having a polar animal adoption center, so the kids can pick out a polar bear, penguin, or reindeer stuffed animal to take home. I found them really cheap at a dollar tree store.
Gift you are giving LO: Zoo talkers set with a bunch of extra animals for it. This was supposed to be it, but he loves this Jingle dog and book set we got at Walmart, so I'll probably end up giving him that too.
*And any additional info! I think my family thinks I've went a little bit crazy when I talk about the decorations, but I have gotten what I actually bought on sale, re-used and re-purposed a ton of old Christmas decorations and am making everything else, so I've gotten off cheaper with all of it than I did with DS1's first Mickey Mouse birthday... that stuff was expensive and I paid a ton of money for a few decorations! Thank God for Pinterest!
His party is on Dec 1st, and I'm getting so excited! I cannot wait!!!!!

Favors: I can't decide if we'll do favors. There will be only 5 kids, including my 2.
Gift you are giving LO: Baby doll and stroller. Leapfrog My Pal Violet. Books
I guess I need to start making some decisions about her birthday! We're having a biggish birthday party for DD1 on Saturday, and I was just trying to get through it before thinking too much about DD2s party. I probably should figure out a theme, and get some invites out, though.
So, since our LO's birthday's are right around the corner I decided to post a poll about birthday parties, if you are having one for LO.
Number of expected guests: 9 adults (including DH and I) and 2 babies (including LO)
Theme: "Over the Hill". Just kidding. No theme.
Food: Making it a dinner party of sorts, with likely a roast or something of the sort. We will also be celebrating a visit from SIL who lives far away.
Games: None, unless there is trivia/cranium/etc after babies have gone to sleep
Favors: None
Gift you are giving LO: Probably some musical instruments (for toddlers). He seems to love them. Or wooden block set.

Number of expected guests: 12...maybe 14 if my grandma and aunt can make it.
Theme: Ice cream cones!
Food: Ham, dinner rolls, cheesy potatoes, veggie tray, fruit salad in waffle bowls. Of course cake and ice cream!
Games: DS will be the only child...so, no games.
Favors: Nothing. I plan to get a picture of DS with each guest and include the picture in the thank you cards.
Gift you are giving LO: Not sure yet! We have some stuff we have already purchased (DH finds deals on line and we'll buy stuff and set it aside for later). I know we have a duplo set...maybe that? I'll have to go check and see what other age appropriate stuff we have. (We have a few preschool toys for him already...it's hard to pass up 70% off deals). I haven't done any specific birthday or Christmas shopping.
Number of expected guests: I invited 16. Just all of our immediate family members. They should all show up.
Theme: Winter ONEderland. Mostly just snowflakes.

Favors: none
Gift you are giving LO: 100% NO idea. I keep thinking and thinking of what to get him but our house is already looks like a toy store, and he has tons of clothes. I guess that is the benefit and the curse of being the 2nd boy in such a short amount of time.

So, since our LO's birthday's are right around the corner I decided to post a poll about birthday parties, if you are having one for LO.
Number of expected guests:
45... and all but 5 people are family! Those 5 might as well be family though!
Theme:
Inspiration is a blanket/quilt that was made for me by one of my great-aunts and is now M's. The blanket/quilt is a yellow w/ white polka dotted background and it's stamped with brown bunnies and red tulips and edged in white ruffles. So Brown bunnies with yellow, white and red colors... most of the yellow stuff has white polka dots.(We also call M our "bunny" so it works perfectly... I'm deciding on whether or not we should get her a bunny lol)
Food:
Baked potato bar, chili, basic dips/chips/fruit etc, stuffed baguettes, little crescent pizza poppers and homemade pretzel coated chicken fingers for the kids.
Games:
None... as of right now.
Favors:
None... as of right now.
Gift you are giving LO:
This necklace from Etsy, and we haven't decided if we'll be getting her a toy or not. I think we're going to take her to build-a-bear on her actual bday (2nd) to get a special bear with us recorded saying happy 1st birthday (she has a merry 1st christmas bear).
*And any additional info!
I'm amazed at how much $$ this is adding up to be, granted it's all me because I'm insisting on spending $50 just on half of the paper products (I couldn't find any yellow with white polka dots napkins or cups except this one place)... and an additional $30-$40 just on the plain colored paper products from party city. My mom and FI's dad are helping cushion by buying balloons and the plain paper products, but still we're looking at probably $500 once all is said and done... it makes me want to cry (especially being so close to Christmas) lolit would be significantly less if we weren't having so many people but our list is the must haves and absolutely no one extra, our families are just huge!
