So, since our LO's birthday's are right around the corner I decided to post a poll about birthday parties, if you are having one for LO.

Theme: Jungle
Food: We are ordering a meat like pulled chicken or pork. We would do hamburgers and hot dogs but I don't want DH to have to cook the whole time. Meat, baked beans, meatballs, fruit tray, vegetable tray, punch, rolls and of course, cake!
Games: We won't be doing games because we won't have a lot of kids there. A few babies but that is it.
Favors: Not sure if we are going to do much. I was thinking of doing some candy of some sort like M & M's.
Gift you are giving LO: Not sure yet! I've been eye train sets, wagons, and toy boxes.

Number of expected guests: 13-14 total. This includes DS, myself, DH, and DD.
Theme: Monsters
Food: Burgers, hotdogs, salad, chips, fruit, etc. Of course cake and icecream!
Games: If the weather is nice we will be outside so the kids will have their ride on toys and can do whatever they like.
Favors: Stuffed monsters.
Gift you are giving LO: Kawasaki 6 volt ATV, and a big boy blanket.
*And any additional info! *The fruit I will be taking a watermelon and cutting it to look like a monster and will have a mixture of fruit appear as if it's pouring out of it's mouth. I saw this on a few blogs and sites and it looked really cute. Also doing some other DIY decorations.

All sweets for food - cupcakes, white chocolate pretzels, sprinkle dipped marshmallows, Oreo balls , hot chocolate bar - basically sugar overload!

Number of expected guests: Probably just us four. I like celebrating on the actually day, so that means Monday after Thanksgiving, so I know my family can't make it and my inlaws probably won't.

Number of expected guests: Around 50-60 (all close family and a couple of very close friends...we have a HUGE family!)
Theme: Winter One-derland (Penguins/polar bears/snowflakes)
Food: Hot chocolate bar, coffee punch, mostly candy and sweets, cake, possibly some veggies, and maybe some bbq pulled venison (I just got the deer I killed in the freezer yesterday and have a lot of roasts from it, and since everyone I know loves venison, this would be the VERY cheap (read FREE) way to feed everyone some actual food!)
Games: No games, but I have some penguin/polar bear foam cut outs with scarfs and hats that the kids can decorate if they want, or take them home.
Favors: We are having a polar animal adoption center, so the kids can pick out a polar bear, penguin, or reindeer stuffed animal to take home. I found them really cheap at a dollar tree store.
Gift you are giving LO: Zoo talkers set with a bunch of extra animals for it. This was supposed to be it, but he loves this Jingle dog and book set we got at Walmart, so I'll probably end up giving him that too.

I think my family thinks I've went a little bit crazy when I talk about the decorations, but I have gotten what I actually bought on sale, re-used and re-purposed a ton of old Christmas decorations and am making everything else, so I've gotten off cheaper with all of it than I did with DS1's first Mickey Mouse birthday... that stuff was expensive and I paid a ton of money for a few decorations! Thank God for Pinterest!
His party is on Dec 1st, and I'm getting so excited! I cannot wait!!!!!

I guess I need to start making some decisions about her birthday! We're having a biggish birthday party for DD1 on Saturday, and I was just trying to get through it before thinking too much about DD2s party. I probably should figure out a theme, and get some invites out, though.

Gift you are giving LO: Not sure yet! We have some stuff we have already purchased (DH finds deals on line and we'll buy stuff and set it aside for later). I know we have a duplo set...maybe that? I'll have to go check and see what other age appropriate stuff we have. (We have a few preschool toys for him already...it's hard to pass up 70% off deals). I haven't done any specific birthday or Christmas shopping.

We have twin girls that will be one on December 22 and we will be having around 45 people and probably 15-18 kids. The DH and I have a huge family.
The theme is Minnie Mouse "bow"tique.
The food is based on Mickey Mouse clubhouse- so a club sandwhich station for the adults, hot diggity dogs etc.
I have pin the bow on minnie mouse and I made a disney bingo for the older kids.
I bought pink baskets for 90% off after easter ( I am a planner, what can I say!LOL) ansd we are making basket full of treats and stuff for them to take home. I also made some minnie ears with detachable bows for the girls and minnie hats for the boys.
We arbuying them new carseats, and a jogging stroller (well I guess thats for me), a ball-o-polooza, lots of books, savings bonds, and some clothes. Not too much considering Christmas is three days later.
Even though I'm wait late to the party
