New to the board-Pregnant with #2!

Hi, I'm Ashleigh and just found out we are expecting baby number two! Both DH and I are excited but i'm still in the "shock" phase...even though we were trying!

DH is in the Navy and will be on deployment almost the entire pregnancy. He should make it back in time for the birth. He was still in Japan when our daughter was born. This time we tried to plan a little better and only had a one month window to work with to make the deployment schedule work for us. 
 
I look forward to getting to know you!

    Congrats from another Navy wife. DH retired a few years ago. Hope the deployment goes quickly and that he's able to be home for the birth. You have a beautiful family.

    TTC since 6/2003. m/c 9/14/03 8 weeks, 5 chemical pregnancies, mmc 6/04 12 weeks, Michael born sleeping 5/25/05 at 22weeks always our angel, fought ovarian cancer and won, m/c 4/06 5.2 weeks and 7/07 6.6 weeks,Our Miracle baby girl born 4/8/10,mc 12/18/11 at 5.3 weeks, BFP 10/26/12 dating u/s on 11/8/12 showing a strong heartbeat!EDD July 4,2013. RCS on 6/27. Baby boy in NICU for 8 long and scary days before he was able to come home. We are now a happy family of 4

    Congrats, and welcome!!  As mentioned previously, hats off to military wives!  My best friends fiancee is coming back from his deployment in 3 weeks, and I don't know how she was able to cope while he was away.  It takes a lot of strength!

    Thank you everyone!

    I'm still at a loss as to how I feel. I am a huge ball of emotions right now. Deployment preparations, a super clingy 1 year old (sick, and we just finished nursing a week ago so I think she's trying to still get mommy time...by being attached to my hip 23 hours a day) and just life in general, I'm hoping the excitement sets in soon. 
    DH is so excited and so i'm hoping his will rub off on me before he leaves!
