Too young for Sesame Street Live?

Ds LOVES Elmo. I thought about taking him to Sesame Street live in Feb at MSG. The tickets are EXPENSIVE! I can't tell if he be able to sit through the entire thing and have fun or if I'd just be wasting .
Thoughts?

    I could have sworn there was a thing you could sign up for to get the first ticket (for LO) for free? I might have just made that up though! 

    I don't know. It's a tough call. It would suck if LO threw a tantrum and you paid all that money, then end up having to walk out. I'd say if you do go, be prepared for the worst and hope for the best.

    If I got the tickets for free or a discounted price, I'd go. But I am not about to shell out mega bucks to chase my child around the theatre when she goes BSC over Elmo.

    That figures. Sesame Street never gives sh.t for free. Pff.

    I would go. I took DD to see it when she was 18 months and she absolutely loved it. We did get good seats and sat pretty close so that made a difference imo.

    We've taken DD1 every year to Disney on Ice since she was 1, including last year when DD2 was only 5 months.  We're going again next month.

    I'd go.

    I would wait.  I wanted to take DD to the Fresh Beat Band when they were in town.  She loves watching the show and dancing.  She dances all the time.  But...she always has to be on the move when there is live music.  We have taken her to a lot of free festivals.  It is fun but a lot of work in a large crowd, makes me nervous.

    I have no idea, it's insane.  As soon as she hears them come on she dances for the whole half hour it's on.  I have been practicing their dance moves for their main song and dance for DD and she thinks it's the best thing ever!

    I would probably wait too. Especially if they are expensive. I just cannot imagine DD enjoying it, and I know I would be worried about her behavior, so we'd all be a mess.
