Hi, I have been thinking of your little CK, did she have her surgery done? I wasn't sure if it happened last week. Hope she is feeling better.

Yes, CK had her surgery last Thursday. It went well, other than the 45 minutes it took her to come out of anesthesia. Our doctor warned us that about 5% of toddlers have a rough post-anesthesia reaction where they're literally out of their minds and, unfortunately, that was the case for CK. It was absolutely terrible - like the exorcist. She was screaming, and thrashing, and kicking, and throwing up... BUT, we made it, and she's doing GREAT now! We go back for a check-up on the 17th to make sure all is well in those little ears... fingers crossed!

And yes, I'm the one with the bum ankle. I got out of my fracture boot a couple weeks ago, after about 4 weeks of hobbling around. I'm now in a much less-invasive brace, and even did a little jogging yesterday during my morning walk. Woop!
