what am I going to find?
If you were to walk into MY house unexpectedly, you would probably find ....
My house will probably be a mess. Toys scattered throughout every room (unless it is naptime or after bedtime when I always clean them up.) Probably a few dishes in the sink.
I will probably be bra-less and wearing comfy yoga pants and a hoodie. I will be sitting on the floor with Mason playing with cars ... or maybe I will be lying on the floor like a turtle on its back while he drives his Matchbox cars all over my pregnant belly.
The TV will be on some kids channel (because I am rotting my child's brain with background TV.)
My kid will probably have snot running down his face. He will be eating an apple ... or maybe rolling the apple around my floors between bites ... or hiding it under his crib.
My two cats will probably be fighting with each other.
I could go on, but I think that you have a pretty accurate picture of what my home looks like mid-afternoon.
Re: I just walked into your house unexpectedly ...
Two big ass dogs that won't let you past the thresh hold! We hate company!

You will find me still in pajamas, and Lena too.
You will find 3 cats, one of them wants to be your bestie for life, but you want to drop kick him for his sheer annoyance.
It is probably quite a mess, as Lena has probably just thrown food across the room and emptied her toy bin for the millionth time.
I guarantee there are dishes in the sink because DH swore he would do them "before bed", but really he just fell asleep on the couch.
Hmmm....my overly friendly dog. He would only bark if my husband was home because he knows my husband is tough. My dog is such a weenie otherwise.
You would see a mixture of halloween and christmas stuff scattered around because we've been sorting through boxes.
I don't think my house is too exciting at the moment.
Well, first you are greeted by my super-friendly dogs. Basically they glue their noses to your leg to try to figure out who you are.
Then you come in and find a very cluttered, but relatively clean house. I probably need to vacuum again, and there are baby toys scattered all around the lower level. We might have Pandora radio going on, almost always on something I like. And I am probably dressed, depending on the time of day. If it's before 9, I make no promises. The house probably smells like something yummy because I like to cook, but the kitchen is always crazy dirty so don't go looking in there (still mostly clutter, but I'm so not proud of my kitchen cleaning skills...). Even though my house is always messy, I love company, even unexpected, so come on over!
