Birthday Party on Super Bowl Sunday?

We're just starting to plan DSs birthday party for Feb and the only day that really works with DHs work schedule is Super Bow Sunday. Do you think that would be a problem for families? We'd have the party from 11am-1pm so there would still be plenty of time for families to get to other SB parties etc. Thoughts?

    We were stuck in the same situation when DS was baptized, and it all worked out fine. People actually liked coming to our party first so they weren't drinking all day :-)

    DS's birthday is Feb 2 so we're going to do the party that day. For his first birthday, we did a "Rookie of the Year" theme. We ordered tailgating food and football decorations. DH used it as an excuse to brew a keg of beer. We had a great time. The Super Bowl doesn't start until 8. Having a party that afternoon should be fine.

    Doing it early enough is totally fine. If you were thinking like 2-4p I would say no, but in the morning is completely fine.
