We decided to go to Costco today which involves a 45 min-1 hr drive. We made a couple of stops along the way, and by the time we got there, and was close to being done with shopping, it was well past DS's lunch time. We just went around the store to get food samples and gave those to DS for his lunch. The crappy food line was a mile long so we decided that food samples was a better option.

    I love Costco food samples! 

    Sharksfan, your siggy is freaking adorable! I am so happy I can see everyone's pictures again! No crappy mobile bump anymore!

    I did the same thing but boy did she love her some parmesan cheese and ham in hawaiian bread.
    Eta: what did they have? I wonder if they have the same samples in all Costcos.

    My Costco must suck. Every time I go they only have samples of stuff like juice, trail mix and crab dip. Otherwise DS and I would be getting a good afternoon snack out of it at the very least. I'm heading there today. Fingers crossed for better samples!

    What, are you kidding me?  Costco samples are the best!  When we've done that, C had a full cheese ravioli, white fish cooked in a butter sauce, hummus, yogurt, soup, and other stuff.  It was awesome!

    I am feeling much better now, and instead of feeling guilty like I was, I am thinking that it was a much better choice than stooping at Costco's food court.

    I'm not kidding, the last time we went to Costco the only sample they had was chicken broth.  CHICKEN BROTH IN A CUP!  W(ho)TF needs to sample chicken broth? Crying

    hahaha we were in Trader Joe's yesterday, and it was past lunch time for DD so she was pretty damned cranky. I totally checked out the sample counter to see if there was anything she'd be interested in before I gave in to her goldfish cracker addiction. The girl's a goldfish junkie.
