Since we are probably a mixed bag because this board is based on location vs. part of TTC process, please tell where you are in said process!
I am 25 and DH is 27. We have been married since June 2011. I have been off BCP since August 2011 but have only been really trying since April 2012. I am on CD2 of Cycle 7. I MAY have a thyroid issue (under-active) which I will find out about tomorrow when I get my blood test results back.

Started our exploration into the world of international adoption June 2012. We have no idea what this is going to look like but we are excited to find out!
I'm Sofa, and my husband is Jed.
A poor mountaineer barely kept his family fed,
Then one day he was shootin' at some food,
And up from the ground came a bubblin' crude.
Oil that is, black gold, Texas tea.
Well the first thing you know ol' Jed's a millionaire,
His kinfolk said, 'Jed, move away from there!'
They said, 'Californy is the place you oughtta be.'
So, they loaded up the truck and moved to Beverly.
Hills, that is, Swimmin' pools, movie stars.
Well now its time to say goodbye to Jed and all his kin.
And they would like to thank you folks fer kindly droppin' in.
You're all invited back next week to this locality
To have a heapin' helpin' of their hospitality
Hillybilly that is. Set a spell, Take your shoes off.
Y'all come back now, y'hear?
I'm 31, my common-law husband is 37. I reached the end of my prescription of Nuvaring, and after long discussion, decided we liked the idea of a little one. Since then, I've been soaking up everything baby related, and lurking around the boards.
I'm 31 and DH is 33. We've been married for four years, though we'd never know it seeing as neither one of us has remembered a single wedding anniversary since we've been married. lol It took us a couple of years to finally conceive DD who was born in February of this year on the leap day and she was worth every single bit of the wait!!
Good luck to those who are TTC!
I am 27 and DH is 26 and a half. The half is important so you don't think I'm robbing the cradle, haha. And so I don't feel super old. We have been together 3.5 years but lived in the UK for two of them. We moved back to Canada last summer after we got engaged and got a surprise BFP while we were planning our wedding (the week after I bought my dress, actually). I was 5.5 weeks pp at our wedding.
We were planning to TTC #2 in January but my DH is going back to school so looks like we will be waiting until DS is one before we try again.
I'm 32 and DH is 28... no way to hide that I'm old OR that I'm robbing the cradle
We've had a super long IF journey and then an equally long and painful Adoption journey... then we moved onto DE IVF and had our amazing DD. We are from Toronto but did our DE IVF at an Amercian clinic in MD through a bridge program w/ a Toronto hospital so technically DD is International herself!
We have 2 frozen embryos so we're thinking about trying for #2 in the new year (end of Feb I think). Seems soon but w/ my history my Dr has said not to wait any longer than necessary.
Im in Alberta Canada and have been on the bump for far too long....since I was pregnant with DS1 5 years ago (and the Knot before that). I now have DS1, 4 years old, DD almost 3 years old, and DS2 4 months old!
I frequent the Natural Birth Board, the SAHMs board, my current BMB (June 2012), and occasionally visit the Special Needs board (DS has a speech delay and potentially ADHD), and the PreSchool board.
I'm excited there's now an International Bumpies board!
Hello fellow Canuck ladies!
DH and I are both 25, married a year and a half and just had our first baby in August. I've been a dirty lurker of the boards for about a year and am finally coming out and getting involved now that I'm a SAHM. I read a lot on my BMB and the SAHMs board.
Crazy fool can only stay if she makes us pie and can tell us who Tommy Douglas is, without using google.
BFP1: DD1 born April 2011 at 34w1d via unplanned c/s due to HELLP, DVT 1 week PP
BFP3: DD2 born Feb 2013 at 38w4d via unplanned RCS due to uterine dehiscence
<_______I'm there, WM of all the tribe in my siggy, married (seems like forever). I'm on P+35 (so yeah, I guess old lady??), Parenting, Gear, Special Needs, and like everyone else, lurk on Baby Names. And had a total blonde moment at Ashley paging us on Parenting, and me not seeing the board!!!
And Sawyerplus1, I totally thought of you went I was in Bulk Barn, they have quite the gluten free selection!!
I'm 22 and DH is 28, but we will both be a year older when the next LO arrives. I'm American, he's Spanish and our kids are lucky enough to be both! We've been married about two and a half years. Originally we planned to wait until after I established a career to start TTC on our first (around the time I was 23 or 24) but we got wild hairs up our butts and decided to TTC for our first to be born soon after I graduated college last year. Things went so well we decided we wanted another close in age and I will hopefully start working when the younger LO is around one.
Oh, and we just moved to Germany from Spain about 6 months ago. We're on one crazy adventure over here!
Which storry? My 'bump' story r my international story?
Bump: I have two children, both normal ttc and pregnancies. W is now four and in school. M is nearly two. She has some kidney issues. Nothing exciting. I cloth diapered, breastfed and semi ap. Boring, really!
International: I moved to the uk 12 (!!!) years ago for grad school, met H and stayed. We live up north.
I'm 23 and DH is 22. We live on the BEAUTIFUL island of Grand Manan, NB (Google it, you won't be disappointed!). I'm an BNRN at our local hospital. We have been married for a little over 2 years (high school sweethearts, Dawwww). I'm the mommy to 4 fur babies (2 Cats, 2 dogs), and we will soon (Feb) have a little baby girl! Her name is Harper Marion Elizabeth.
Heres my blog if you want to follow me!

I'm 29 and DH is 32. This is our first baby and we are very excited to be welcoming a little boy to our family (we have 5 nieces).
We live in a Town outside of Toronto, Ontario. So excited to have a Canadian board. I love the December 2012 ladies and the Tri boards, but there's something great about going somewhere where you are understood.
I?m 36, as is DH. We got together at universtity when we were 21. He studied Computer Science and I studied History. This summer we celebrated our 10yr wedding anniversary.
We moved to Mallorca Spain in the summer of 1999. We always knew we wanted to have children but, because of suffering with serious depression and GAD, I was in no fit state to become a mother.
When the medications I was taking finally had me in a stable place, we took the plunge and DS was born last year after 6mths of TTC.
Now we are looking forward to 2U2, and moving back to the UK sometime in the next 18mths or so, to be closer to family.
Is this what you crazy kids are doing these days instead of that old Bel Air gag?
Hi all! I'm happy to see this board up and catch up with all the IN ladies! My work blocks the new boards so I've been way out of the loop.
I am 26 and Texan, DH is 30 and Danish. We have been married since November/December 2008 (we had three weddings, I know many of you understand!). We lived in Denmark for a couple of years in the beginning of our marriage but are now in Texas. Our first daughter, Patricia Kirsten, was born sleeping in March of this year at 31 weeks. I am now pregnant with our rainbow baby and we hope to bring this one home in March 2013.
I mostly post on Loss and PgAL, but I am looking forward to discussing the ups and downs of international relationships and baby-raising with you all!
::Leaves sobbing::
DH and I are both 30, both american but lived in Switzerland and Spain.
We came back here to America when we decided to have kids, but find we miss Switzerland (and Spain) way too much and want to move back and thinking about raising our kids there. We miss the quality of life being better and giving our children a great opportunity of learning 4 or more languages and traveling, but the trade-off is leaving all of the family.
Oh! I only found this board bc the mobile site went down
Baby story: We have DD (born January 2009) and DS (born September 2012)
International story: I met DH while studying abroad in Italy in 1998 and basically just never went home (which was NY). We live in Milan. I WAH, telecommuting for 3 different companies
. DH is a surgeon. We're thinking of moving to another country but not sure where. The logistics are kind of hard with 2 little kids and having to deal with medical qualification recognition.
Happy to meet you all!
