So Lena has always been a pretty decent sleeper, but lately (the past week, roughly), we have been having a terrible time getting her to bed at night. We do our usual routine, and then put her to bed, but she then throws tantrums for a good 3-4 hours after that. She throws her pacifier a lot, hits her head against the crib, and basically just screams. We try not to run in and give in, but we don't want her to hurt herself so if we see her on the monitor and she is banging her head, we go in ASAP.
She may be teething (it is really hard to see back there!), but she is fine during the day. Also, she naps just fine during the day, but at night it is a whole different story. Anyone go through this or have any ideas why she could be doing this, or what we could be doing differently?
Re: Sleep Issues
Hmmm. Does she have a night light? I'm thinking maybe she doesn't like to be in the dark at night since she sleeps good during the day?
Or maybe a white noise machine might help?
Honestly I always blame any sudden interruptions to routine on teething or growth spurts.

We tried the nightlight, that seemed to piss her off more lol
She has white noise, it is on.
I agree, I usually blame it on the teething too. She has a little bit of a runny nose, maybe that could be part of the problem? Though it doesn't seem to bother her at naptime. I am thinking it could be a separation anxiety thing. Or, an "I just don't want to go to bed" thing
Yeah, I was all out. I had already consumed it all myself
Crap. I had better trade her in. Perhaps they can refurbish her.
