not feeling sick makes me nervous

For the last month or so I've been ungodly, can hardly get out of bed sick. Suddenly the last two days I've felt perfectly normal. And instead of being happy about it, I'm scared something has happened. I was getting through it by thinking it was a good sign both babies were doing well. I'm already so worried because in only 8 weeks and know how much can happen. Sometimes I just wish I didn't find out so early. I don't get another ultrasound for 34 weeks. That time will be torture!

Re: not feeling sick makes me nervous

  • Try to not worry....easier said than done I know. Feeling sick and not feeling sick are both perfectly normal...your hormones are doing all kinds of wacky stuff right now. I would say call your doctor, though, if you have severe cramping or heavy bleeding...anything other than that and you should be ok. GL!

  • I know it really is easier said than done, but try not to worry.  I never had a bit of morning sickness and I was terrified that it meant my pregnancy wouldn't stick around.  Reading articles and posts about morning sickness meaning you were more likely to have a healthy pregnancy certainly didn't help ease my paranoia.

Just try and enjoy this respite if you can.  you never know when the sickness may return!  GL!

  • I would not worry.  I never got sick at all during my pregnancy and I had two very healthy baby girls.  If you really can't stop worrying I would call your Doctor and have them reassure you.

  • I would not worry at all!  I had the same thing at 11 weeks and got nervous, but then the morning sickness came back with a vengeance and lasted until 35 weeks!  I won't wish that kind of good luck on you:)
