I just realized my maternity undies all will hit we're my scar is. What underwear did you use after you csection?
And do you have a pj recommendation for hospital stay?
With my first, it was an emergency c. I feel even more unprepared this time and starting to get panicked
Re: Underwear ?
The past 2 weeks I have been wearing my hanky lanky undies and some others that I have from Patagonia. Neither are cheap but feeling comfy is a priorty right now.
Good luck!
I bought larger hanes panties from target, they were okay but I'm so glad I took home extra of the mesh panties you get at the hospital. I wish I took more, and I took a lot to begin with! I was so sad when I used them all up hahaha (and I thought I wouldn't use them before I went into the hospital!!)
I slept/wore maternity night gowns in the hospital, they have great, cheap ones at old navy! Super comfy and yet they are dressy enough that they look like sun dresses! GL!

I wore Hanes bikini - not too low cut, and higher than my incision.
I didn't like the mesh undies - they got caught on my staples a couple times, and that did not feel good.
I wore yoga pants that hit around my belly button.
Hanes "granny panties." lol The real high ones that don't cut at your scar. I wore the hospital gown the first day and a half. It was just easier to use the restroom (once I was allowed to walk) and easier to nurse since it unbuttoned.
I then changed into comfy pj cotton pants with nursing tanks. I wear size small in everything, but bought a medium in pants and nursing tanks for my bigger waste and breast after birth.
Mom to Carter (6), and Calianne (1).
Proud VBAC, natural birth, breastfeeding, cloth diapering momma!
I got a pack of Hanes high cut underwear and it's been fantastic.
As for pjs, I just got a pair of jammies from Wal-mart. Button up top with stretchy pants bottoms.
i wore the mesh panties too - they took my staples out before i left the hospital...

I loved the mesh undies. I took home a weeks worth. Then I switched back to the granny panties I'd been wearing during my pregnancy. I'm still wearing the granny panties, my pre-preg undies won't stay up since I'm still wearing my maternity pants.
I wore the hospital gowns for the first two days, then I switched to a pair of comfy sweats with fabric waistband (no elastic), nursing bra and a tank top with a zip up hoodie over it. I did take a robe to the hospital, which I wore with the hospital gown.
My incision is super low, just above my hairline - so pretty much everything I own easily comes up over it. I did have trouble wearing jeans for the first week or two - even my maternity ones. So I just wore sweats or my comfy maternity pants.

I used the mesh undies they give you for the first couple of days, but as soon as I showered I wanted to wear real people underwear. I had some low rise, loose fitting cotton underwear that worked just fine, especially as the swelling and baby weight started to go away.
For pajama pants I just had like XXL dude pants, but I think maternity pjs might've been better because they rest below the belly.
