Do you save cards? Like birthday cards, anniversary cards, etc.?
If you do, what do you do with them? And do you ever look at them?
DH and I aren't really card people. We never get cards for each other, and we don't send cards to other people. It's just not our thing.
My ILs, on the other hand, send cards for EVERYTHING. It's totally sweet of them, but if I saved every card, I'd have totes full of them. Plus, now for each occasion, we receive two separate cards - one for DH and I and one addressed separately to DD. I usually let them hang on the fridge for a month or two and then throw them out...but I always feel bad when I throw them away!
So, do you save cards? All of them? Just special ones? Just curious....and bored ![]()
Re: Do you keep cards?
I used to save all cards, but that takes up a lot of room and we move a lot. I have all of DS's first birthday cards and baby shower cards that are supposed to go in his baby keepsake box that I've never actually purchased. Someday.
Otherwise, I keep the ones DH gives me, and others only if they are extra special.
Edit: Since we move a lot, I do end up looking through them.
Edit #2 (because my brain is slow today): By my first edit, I mean that I look at them because I have to go through all of my stuff every couple of years to clean out the excess. That's when I look at them.
I save them for the most part. I have a box and I just toss them in there. I like to look at them once in a blue moon - sort of like pictures.
