Cause for concern?

Hi all, had my 1st u/s yesterday at 6wks 4 or 5 days.  U/s showed gest & yolk sacs but no fetal pole or hb.  Dr said that this is not necessarily a sign of another impending m/c but I can't help but be freaked out:(. I am pretty certain on the dates bc we were doing fertility treatment with an iui  so I have to be close.  Any similar experiences?

    I think it's possible to not see a heartbeat before 7 weeks. You could have implanted a little late also. Try to stay positive and I hope you get good news at your next ultrasound.

    All this! My OB's office doesn't even do U/S until 8 weeks for exactly this reason.

    As the pp's said, it's definately possible to not see the heartbeat yet, even a scheduled IUI doesn't guarantee that conception occured during a particular window, so being off by 2 or 3 days could make a difference in what you'll see on the u/s.
