i am not dilated...which doesnt mean much-

but i am not sure what the big deal was. she stuck something deep into

my cervix and was out before 30 seconds was up.

why was i expecting this to be such a big deal?

there was no pain whatsoever!

I had a similar expierence during my first internal, took less than a minute, very little spotting, no big deal...

Then this week I had one done by my 'backup' doc - holy hell it hurt like crazy and I was bleeding pretty significantly for a day.

I guess it's all a matter of the Dr performing the internal... I hope to god I go into labor before backup doc gets another chance to perform another one.

I have had 4 by 3 different doctors. Only the 2nd one hurt.

My water broke in the early morning hours of the day of my dr appt where he was going to do an internal. They did an internal at the hospital. It hurt like HELL!! I don't know why but it was painful for me.
