I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who had kind words about my story. I usually feel judged and incompetent after people find out why I didn't go to college...

You ladies made me feel accepted and cared about. Thank you, I can't tell you how wonderful that is.

    I have so many positive things I could say to you on this but all I will say is after getting to "know" you I'm pretty sure you are smarter than me and I love you for it!

    And bears, I completely agree. I'm so much more open minded now than I was a year or so ago, and I attribute it to my bump friends. :0]

    Not going to college is not something that you should be judged about period, but if anyone judges you after knowing your story isn't worth the time of day.  Don't ever feel like you owe anyone an explanation! And I'm so sorry that you had to go through that.

    Bears, I completely agree. TB has definitely exposed me to different types of people then who I normally meet where I live and has made me understand different perspectives better. Definitely not something I would have expected to get from this website!
