So I think I've narrowed down our stroller choices to the City Mini GT or the Oyster. Our main criteria are: easy/compact fold, not too heavy (have to haul it up and down stairs every day), and should handle well on all sorts of terrain -- we have a lot of uneven paving/cobbles in our neighborhood, and we are also in the park every day, sometimes following our dog across large lawns or gravel trails.
Anyone have experience with either of these? Especially with regard to how they handle on different kinds of terrain? I've read and viewed lots of reviews but would appreciate hearing firsthand experience from people on this board. TIA!
Re: City Mini GT or Oyster?
Thanks, I hadn't even thought to check on the International Bumpies board.
Can anyone share their experiences with the GT?
Here is what we have found:
It is super easy to fold and unfold.
The push and steering is amazing.
My sister loved that we were out in the rain and she had him napping in the stroller, with the canopy down he did not get wet at all. There was no need for any kind of rain cover.
My niece (2.5 years) sat on the foot rest for about half a block. So I was pushing 45-50 lbs between the 2 of them, and it was still easy to push.

DH and I went to the store to test out the two strollers yesterday and hands down we felt that the CM GT was better built and designed. It was his first time looking at strollers since I did all the research, and he absolutely loved how easy it was to fold down. Plus it seems like such a smooth ride for DS, and it's about 2 lbs. lighter than the Oyster! Turned out to be an easy decision.
