We have been using an infant seat that LO is about to grow out of. We bought a convertible seat some time last year (found a good sale), not aware that he's supposed to be rear facing til 2. Our new seat will not fit rear facing in the back of our station wagon without rendering the front passenger's seat completely useless.
Can anyone recommend a good convertible seat that will fit rear facing in a station wagon?? Thanks
Re: Help! Car seat dilemma.
Can you install it in the middle seat of the back? Also I believe if you ask babies r us they will let you try various models in your car to see how they fit. Just ask an employee.

We have a small car too (Prius), we chose the Britax Marathon and it is great, it takes up less space than our bucket did so the passenger now has more room
.
Also, when I was in the BRU, they found my current bucket seat so I could compare widths in the store, which helped a lot with my decision.
what kind of wagon? we have a subaru outback and it was tough to find anything that wasn't bulky.
we bought a european seat, but I was looking at Marathons and the Maxi Cosi Pria 70.
I would just try them out and see.

It's a Volvo V70. I've been doing a lot of research and supposedly the Combi Coccoro is one of the smallest out there...just ordered one from Amazon, so hopefully it'll work out!
Thanks everyone for your input!
