Movie popcorn does not go with GD

So I tried to have some popcorn at the movies last night. Checked my sugars before hand, only ate half the bag and even ate some almonds with it. NO GO. SUgars too high 2 hours after and again this am when I woke up. Guess that treat is definitely out for the next few months!

    That sucks. I've been doing PopSecret for my snacks here and there and it hasn't had any major impact on mine - my big no-no is milk - even drinking whole milk with less sugar than the lower fat milks bumps me up 15+ points.

    Milk is my husbands preferred method for bringing his blood sugar up (he's type 1 diabetic). Juice makes him feel crappy, but milk has plenty of sugar and works well for him.
