Best Lighweight Stroller

Hello everyone,

FTM here, and looking to find my best option for a lightweight stroller. I am due in the beginning of January, and already had the UppaBaby Vista purchased for me. I love the stroller ( from what I have heard and read), but dont think it will always be practical to use. Im looking for a sturdy lightweight stroller that would be good for the boardwalk (live at the Jersey shore), and a reliable second stroller. Not sure about Uppababy Gluxe and Glite, I have found mixed reviews! Thanks for your help!

  • I love love love the Gluxe.... I seriously cried when I sold it (having twins now).  I don't know how it would be for rougher terrain like a boardwalk but it was great for keeping in the car and shopping etc.

  • I have the vista too and now use the Maclaren Quest as our light weight option! I love it. I thought I'd get the GLuxe, but didn't actually like it when I tried it out. The quest has a one handed fold, which is key for me.

  • We have a Vista and we love it!! Then we also got the G-Lite and I love that as much as the Vista. I have never had a problem with the G-lite and love it!

  • I have the UBV and a Maclaren Volo. Ava loves the UBV and HATES the Volo...I guess it's just not as comfy.

  • We have the Gluxe, it's nicely padded, reclines, well made!

  • We love the britax b-agile stroller and we have the infant car seat that works with it...best investment we made.  The car seat is so easy to adjust and the stroller is lightweight and drives great!

  • I don't know if you have this car seat (Chicco Keyfit) but if you do you could wait for the new Chicco Liteway Plus.  It's a lightweight umbrella stroller that you can attach the Keyfit car seat too.  I am getting this because I also have the Vista and I need a lightweight option and it will be versatile for me so I can either wear baby #2 and put my daughter in the stroller or my daughter can walk and I can put the car seat in the stroller.  It comes out mid January.

As far as other lightweight strollers go, the Joovy Groove is a good one to look at in addition to what the previous posters suggested.
