NBR I'm getting a boob job!...whine!

Nothing more awesome than going bridesmaid dress shopping with my BFF feeling pretty awesome that I FINALLY slipped back into a pair of PP jeans and not my fat day jeans either! Only to get measured and told my chest and waist are a size 2/4 BUT my ASS is a 10/12!!! WTF who is shaped that effing disproportionate?!!! So with that being said instead of exercising to slim down my thighs I'll just get a boob job haha!...this may be the wine talking!

    My BFF is getting married in June and she wants me to go try on some dresses in a couple weeks. I am scared what my measurements will say!

    I always thought I was pretty proportionate pre-baby, and even then I was always told I was way larger on the bottom than on the top.  Bridesmaid dress sizing is WHACKED OUT.

    I totally didn't see that coming my wedding gown wasn't that whacked. I can only imagine what alterations are going to cost!

    My bridesmaid dresses were two-piece, and every one of my bridesmaids (who ranged in size from 0/2 to 18/20) ALL had two sizes bigger on the bottom than the top. Also, the sizes run small, so you're always a bigger size than you are in your regular clothes. It's ridiculous!

    My wedding dress was a split size - it fit like a glove!  But I've always paid out the wazoo with bridesmaid dresses.  :(

    Yeah it's weird I certainly don't feel like a 2/4 up top, of course with the exception that i have no boobs and waist and I normally wear a smaller size on the bottom. I felt like an extreme pear shape!

    Just a little FYI... Those dress shops will intentionally tell you that you're bigger than what you are and order your dress in that size so that your dress has to be altered. [because alterations are where most of them make their money]

    If you tell them that you're taking your dress to a private seamstress for alterations, I bet that size goes down to at least an 8.

    And I do strongly suggest going to a private seamstress for the alterations. In most cases you'll get higher quality work at a much more reasonable price.
