Negative Pregnancy Test but still was pregnant?

Ever since ovulation, I've felt like I'm pregnant. I took 2 different tests recently and they both said negative. Thursday was day 28 and that's when I usually get my period. I haven't taken a test since then. But I was wondering if any of you were pregnant, but got a negative on your home pregnancy test? (Still didn't get my period yet btw).

I got negative tests when I tested too early. Tests taken on day of missed period and shortly afterward were positive.

I tested a few days after my missed period, and it came back negative. A few days later, still no period, so I retested and got a BFP. Give it a couple of days and try again : Good luck!

Are you certain of your O date? Are you charting? Could you have ovulated late? I don't have any advice, but good luck.

No I wasn't charting this time. But I'm very regular when I do chart. So I was just assuming I ovulated the same time again. It's something to think about though. Thanks.

It might have been later by a few days this time. Maybe see how it goes and test again in a few days. Again, GL.

You probably ovulated late. Wait a week, test again if you haven't started yet.

Test once a week until you either get a pos, af shows or then call your doc if you go 60 days with no af and no pos test

Not me personally, but I have a friend who got negative HPT's until she was 12 weeks pregnant. She never got a positive HPT, she went to her doctor bc she hadn't had a period and they did a blood test. Sure enough, 12 weeks KU.
Hers is a rare and bizarre case, though. Not the norm.

You always hear about these hypothetical women who don't metabolize hcg in their urine (and therefore can't get BFPs) - crazy that you actually know one!

I tested a few days before I expected my period, and it was negative, but by the first day, it was positive. As others have said, maybe you Oed later than normal? I charted, so I knew exactly when to expect it. Good luck!! I hope it turns positive for you!

Yep, my first was too early so I tested negative...then proceeded to go hot tubbing and drinking. Oops.

i took three pregnancy tests and got all negatives. one on the day i was supposed to get my period (april 9th) and then the next two in the week after. i waited and waited. finally i just went to the doctor and got a positive! that was about a week and a half after my period was supposed to be there (around april 17th)

turns out my cycle was just really, really off that month. my doctor thinks i didn't actually conceive until april 7th! so it's still possible! GL!
