We are thinking of either Carter or Nathan/Nathaniel
for first names. The only MN we've come up with is Carter Dylan -- any
other suggestions for Carter or Nathan/Nathaniel?
Our last name sounds like "cats."
TIA!

One of my friends has a son named Nathaniel James, he's super cute. I love the name Nathaniel and it would have been on my short list for this baby if she hadn't grabbed it first ;-) I agree with PP that you'd want a 1 syllable name for the MN with Nathaniel.... maybe you can get away with a 2 syllable name as well since you have a 1 syllable LN.
We are set on Nathan James or Nathan Henry, so I'm partial.. I love the name and think a little boy Nate is so cute . We also thought about Andrew for a MN as well.
Reid, Everett, Emmett, Garrett, James??? Just throwing out some of my faves
Omgosh Nathan Reid sounds amazing!
I said, "Oh my, what a marvelous tune" It was the best night, never would forget how we moved. The whole place was dressed to the nines, And we were dancing, dancing Like we're made of starlight Like we're made of starlight. ~TS
If you go with Nathaniel I would do a one syllable mn, ex. Nathaniel James, Nathaniel Paul, etc. I also like Nathan Carter together.
I agree with TexasMom. Also, I think Nathaniel Bryan sounds nice.
On a tangential note NYCgirl, we are looking for a two bedroom condo to purchase in SF. The market is pretty dry right now, but I'm not going to stress about it.

Hey there! Good to hear from you. Are there specific neighborhoods you guys are looking at? I'm assuming you probably have a RE agent but if you need a recommendation let me know as we were happy with ours and he helped us negotiate a good deal on the condo we're in now.
I'm glad you aren't stressing about finding a place! I went through a phase when we were looking to buy when I was convinced we were "never" going to find a place. But it's just one of those things (unfortunately) you can't rush. The right place will come on the market for you, but it just takes staying patient so you don't buy the wrong place. Hope everything else is going well!

Thanks for the note. A good friend is a realtor, so he has been helping us. I appreciate the offer for a contact, though.
We are looking in Noe Valley because of its proximity to the husband's work. That's probably one of the most difficult neighborhoods to buy in right now! :-P
Yes, I definitely want to stay patient and find the right match. We can always live in our one bedroom for a little while after the baby is born. I hope that you are feeling well. :-)

What about Carter Nathaniel or Nathan Carter or Nathan Alexander
I ended up being a December 2012 mama. I was due jan. 17th but she decided she wanted to be here to welcome in the new year, lol
Big brother loves her. He pointed at her and said that my sissy.
